I'm feeling much better about the end to this show since Raw last night, I think D-Bry chasing down Orton and the WWE title is going to be very enjoyable stuff.
I like the alignment of the Nu-Corporation with the 'other' poster-boy of WWE (tall, sculpted, third-generation and so on, all the other usual stuff that meant from his debut Orton was always going to be one of Vince's top guys) versus the vanilla midget underdog hero of the independent scene.
For once this actually feels like they're not completely making it up as they go along. Now they just need to avoid the usual traps, like having Bryan feud with HHH instead of Orton and lose, or hot-shotting the title change on the next PPV, and they've got themselves a pretty intriguing Autumn programme.
Bryan steadily working his way through insurmountable obstacles and difficulties to give a mighty fuck-you to the McMahons and their vision of what a champ should be = good stuff
