Just watched some of his other videos. Very informative and interesting, tbf. Too bad he cant just stick to that kind of thing.

Page views don't seem to be as important a metric for advertisers as they used to be

on a human level I sympathize with people who are sad and frustrated, but that doesn't license him to lash out at somebody else, and the gleeful wielding of the word "sunsetting" by a critic against a musician just reeks of free-floating resentimment against the object (Music) he supposedly is so passionate about. once you add in the homophobic animus that he pointed at ed, it's harder still to feel any sympathy.

i dunno people tell us time on site, unique viewers, bounce rates etc are important, it's changed a lot in the last 5 years i think
