oh i will this time -- i accidentally used the last page last time and it seemed like scanning it and photoshopping out all the marks might have been a step too far

Sort-of off topic, but my daughter taught herself a lot of Photoshop basics by scanning and un-coloring a coloring book that she'd loved when she was a little kid.

found my old scorebooks at my dad's house. the earliest game is from 19 september 1980, two days before my ninth birthday -- it seems possible that i was wished a happy birthday on the scoreboard, but i don't remember.
pirates beat the mets 4-3 with rick rhoden scattering 10 singles and going the distance. he also picked two mets (mookie and wally) off first and singled, dropping his season line to .400/.417/.571 at the plate.
