what time are you going along tonight, RJG?

I had another question.

cozen (Cozen), Friday, 9 April 2004 16:35 (twenty years ago) link

o, yeah, if someone wants to come along (say, a flatmate) who is to pay then how much is it?

cozen (Cozen), Friday, 9 April 2004 16:38 (twenty years ago) link

that was some good glasgow!

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 00:32 (twenty years ago) link

That was. We agree.

I feel that the thread should not be used for advertising, of for instance clubs.

That doesn't mean the clubs are bad, themselves.

"I fell back in love with London; it onley took Cozen?"

the bluefox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 07:53 (twenty years ago) link

Actually, it would take more, than that.

the redfox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 07:53 (twenty years ago) link

I'm taking that as mean-spirited.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 09:26 (twenty years ago) link

I am less mean-spirited on The Poetry Thread

the greenfox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 09:36 (twenty years ago) link

It is queer to see Eyeball Kicks talking about beating people up.

I have met him. He didn't even seem to consider beating me up, nor none else neither.

the pinkfox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 09:39 (twenty years ago) link

did you see I revived the sean o'brien thread to talk about the park by the railway and also the peom of the similar name?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 09:46 (twenty years ago) link

No: soon, I will, see.

the greenfox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:08 (twenty years ago) link

are we going to play football, glasgow?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:09 (twenty years ago) link

Cookie wants to play on Monday. I'm at work.

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:11 (twenty years ago) link

In that case, Monday?

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:12 (twenty years ago) link

I think we should play on monday. I have an 11-a-side size astro-turf park out my back door, which also has 7-a-side goals and hockey goals for the more informal kick-a-bout.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:13 (twenty years ago) link

I fancy Cozen might be quite useful

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:15 (twenty years ago) link

...as a rallying cry

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:15 (twenty years ago) link

I don't understand what Cozen's on about. Is this free?

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:32 (twenty years ago) link

it's free.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:39 (twenty years ago) link

it is, as I said, an 11-a-side astro-turf park which has 11-a-side goals, 7-a-side goals, and hockey goals. (you know the set-up, it's common.) the park is annexed to the local school and during non-school times, it is free to use. there may be some other people on the park and I can't guarantee space (though it's rare that it is completely stoked full) but it is a possibility?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:40 (twenty years ago) link

It's a trick!

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:44 (twenty years ago) link

I don't got no baby!

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 11:45 (twenty years ago) link

It is a world of possibility.

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 10 April 2004 12:38 (twenty years ago) link

pausibility

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 14:06 (twenty years ago) link

I'm starting to understand why there's never been a Glasgow FAP.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 10 April 2004 14:16 (twenty years ago) link

it's tuesday night. isn't it?

should people be there from 7? if not, when?

should people be at the carnarvon bar, on the corner of carnarvon street and st. george's road? if not, where?

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 14:22 (twenty years ago) link

I'll go where I'm told.

Cathy (Cathy), Saturday, 10 April 2004 14:24 (twenty years ago) link

Oh no, not the Carnarvon. How about the Uisge Beathe?

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:14 (twenty years ago) link

I like that one less.

the bluefox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:21 (twenty years ago) link

You're not coming. The Carnarvon is good when you feel grotty, but it has too many bad smells and memories.

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:23 (twenty years ago) link

How about the new Sports Bar on Sauchiehall St?

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:24 (twenty years ago) link

Maybe I should try Glasgow?

the bluefox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:28 (twenty years ago) link

i cannot believe a glasgow fap is actually happening and i will be not there.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:30 (twenty years ago) link

I can. You never came to my Glasgow FAP.

the bluefox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:42 (twenty years ago) link

CCA?

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:44 (twenty years ago) link

Did you have a Glasgow FAP? I did come and see you though.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:47 (twenty years ago) link

You did.

I appreciated it.

One day you should come and see me, and hear Ken Bruce. And touch my fluffy rabbit?

the bluefox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:50 (twenty years ago) link

*runs away*

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 10 April 2004 15:55 (twenty years ago) link

haha,

the CCA is good.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:01 (twenty years ago) link

Are we all agreed on the CCA? Cook won't be, but fuck him.

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:18 (twenty years ago) link

I'm agreed on the CCA.

Cathy (Cathy), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:19 (twenty years ago) link

it's OK to eat a whole bag of pistachios in a oner?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:22 (twenty years ago) link

let's not get nasty.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:23 (twenty years ago) link

why would cook object to the CCA?

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:38 (twenty years ago) link

cos of the perforated pleather light fittings?

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:49 (twenty years ago) link

colin, what are you doing in your friendster picture?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:51 (twenty years ago) link

nick says ally is always complaining unless it's the carnarvon or a wetherspoons. it is simple not true and is actually false. nick says "I'm align him." I don't think anything is fair, anymore.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:52 (twenty years ago) link

It's true, Dick, what you say, because, remember the other day, when we noticed that something wasn't fair?

Still.

the fairfox, Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:54 (twenty years ago) link

i'm taking a picture of myself, what's Richard doing in his?

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:55 (twenty years ago) link

I'm making things fair. fairer, at least.

you're right PF. there have been a couple of times, like that, lately. I should've kicked up more of a stink.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 10 April 2004 16:57 (twenty years ago) link

I definitely fell in love. yes, with her.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 11 April 2004 00:55 (twenty years ago) link
