Stephen Potter (author/humourist):

In 1930 he wrote D. H. Lawrence: A First Study, the first book-length work on Lawrence, which appeared in print within a few days of the death of its subject, unfortunate timing because it seemed like an inadequate memorial rather than what it was intended to be, a critical reappraisal. It also suffered from a regrettable misprint, rendering the heading "Sea and Sardinia", as "Sex and Sardinia". This was soon amplified by rumour into "Sex and Sardines", none of which helped Potter's reputation as a serious writer.

Coke II[edit]

In 1985, New Coke was sold only in Canada, the United States, and United States territories, while the original formula continued to be sold in the rest of the world (had the new version been a success it would presumably have been introduced worldwide). New Coke was eventually returned to the company's product portfolio; it was test-marketed in certain U.S. cities under the name Coke II in 1990 and officially renamed Coke II in 1992, despite the company's original intention not to create a second brand. Filmmaker Miranda July is said to have suggested the name of Coke II while working as a tastemaker for an ad agency.[54]

Apparent Sexual Dimorphism(edit)

I'm reinserting my assertions concerning the evident sexual dimorphism in the species in light of the following:
The Chipettes have used suntan lotion in at least one episode of the cartoon series, indicating that their skin is indeed relatively bare (as in humans).
When the Chipettes' midriffs are exposed, their navels are quite visible, while those of the boys are not (they are apparently obscured, as in other fur-bearing mammals).
The Chipmunks navels are visible, they're just never exposed; except once, during "The Chipmunk Adventure" when they are captured by the tribe of primitives.
And finally, the girls have human-like hair on their heads which grows in a variety of colors (brown on Jeanette, auburn on Brittany, and blonde on Eleanor and Charlene), unlike the boys, who have tufts of fur on their heads the exact same color as that which grows on their bodies.
It is obvious that the appearance of males and females differs significantly enough in the Chipmunk species to warrant some discussion.

Lyrically, the song features Knowles schooling everyone from their 20s to their 50s. She gets feisty as she reflects on lessons she learned in her own life and affirms that she hasn't certified as a teacher, a preacher or a doctor, but is willing to perform their various duties regardless.

In the original version done with Rotten, the main theme is a power chord riff that goes D, C, D, E♭ (plays with "Belsen was a gas, I heard the other day"). When rerecorded for the Biggs version, that theme is drastically altered to D, C, B♭, C. Thus, the tension of the original version (from the use of E flat in a song based in D) is quite deflated.
