Rick Ross doing cups was the funniest thing last night.

Cups thing was hilarious. My cups happy daughter was cracking up, and she didn't even get the joke. Keenan could barely keep a straight face.

Best episode in a long time. Even the hacky skits had great bits (e.g. Kate McKinnon's broccoli baby in the co-op interview sketch... Plus I always get a huge kick out of Pharoah's Kanye)

I generally thought it was a pretty bad episode. Weekend Update was the least I've enjoyed it in ages. Gaga was decent, a good performer, not so awkward, but I was really tired of all the meta gaga references/jokes in every skit. I'm surprised everyone here liked this episode that much. I like the Rob Ford/CNN, the Blockbuster video, Vanessa's overacting summer camp actress...

I think that getting meta with the host is part of the SNL fun. I can see that the weekend update jokes may have been weaker, but I was dying at the failed speech writer and outraged senior guests

And Gaga/Kells both sound immaculate live. So I guess we can stop cutting artists slack for terrible SNL sound

First two are a bit groany. The last is permissible use of guest IMO.

I didn't think it was much better or worse than any other episode this season, with the exception of Kerry Washington's episode (it reached a level of bad I'm not sure they can surpass). Gaga's good in sketches, though. If she wasn't a musician, she'd probably be at Second City or something.

Turkey sketch was amazing.

This was the best episode of the season front to back, quality-wise. Even Girlfriends Talk Show was funny, which is rarely the case for that sketch.
