can people please stop mentioning Grease on a thread about a good film, jesus, Grease is the absolute worst film ever made, a berth it shares with Dirty Dancing. As I've said a thousand times before.

chris (chris), Sunday, 24 November 2002 17:45 (twenty-one years ago) link

thats ridiculous, grease is great, it has FRENCHY

ron (ron), Sunday, 24 November 2002 18:56 (twenty-one years ago) link

Grease is good, if only for the camp Travolta "Ew" before the climactic line of 'Summer Nights'. Far better than TBC, though both are depressingly conservative.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 24 November 2002 21:25 (twenty-one years ago) link

one year passes...
"Larry Lester from PE

Larry is not depicted in the film, but he is the reason that Andrew is spending time in detention. Larry had his butt cheeks taped together by Andrew as part of an attempt to emulate some of the wild stuff his father said he always did in school. Andrew feels sorry that Larry will have to experience extreme shame when he tells his father what happened to him."

Wrong thread.

Matt (Matt), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 15:16 (twenty years ago) link

Yay! Carsmile brings weed!

I want a makeover. I'm coming as Ally Sheedy.

Dave B (daveb), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 15:25 (twenty years ago) link

There is absolutely no context in which the word "Cheetara" can be used wrongly.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:01 (twenty years ago) link

Fair point.

Matt (Matt), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:04 (twenty years ago) link

*googles, scratches head* Did I ever actually see Thundercats? I guess not.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:11 (twenty years ago) link

WHAT IN THE JESUS CHRIST BATFUCK HOLY CRAP IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Allyzay, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:13 (twenty years ago) link

Well, it sounds sorta familiar but I can't remember anything about it.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:16 (twenty years ago) link

That is seriously the saddest thing I've ever heard.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:19 (twenty years ago) link

There is absolutely no context in which the word "Cheetara" can be used wrongly.

If the question is 'which character in Thunderbirds is the ever-living one'? then using 'Cheetara' would be very wrong indeed.

Dave B (daveb), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:20 (twenty years ago) link

Hmmm. That's a good point. If the question was "Which character in Thunderbirds had huge, ludicrious knockers not belonging to a cat or possibly any natural human" though, it would be entirely correct.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:21 (twenty years ago) link

Cheetara Abyssinians! Which is nothing to do with Thundercats but you do get a picture of an ancient Egyptian cat attacking a bird if you scroll down a bit.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:27 (twenty years ago) link

Thunderbirds was a different series and you two need more coffee

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:29 (twenty years ago) link

Dave B (daveb), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 16:50 (twenty years ago) link

Technically it was Nicole who said "Cheetara"!

Allyzay, Wednesday, 25 February 2004 17:00 (twenty years ago) link

Dave B (daveb), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 17:01 (twenty years ago) link

I fear the new thread this will produce.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 18:32 (twenty years ago) link

If it produces a pinefox wolverine, I will be happy.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 18:33 (twenty years ago) link

"Pinefox Wolverine" sounds like some sort of exotic housepet.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 18:34 (twenty years ago) link

It does at that.

Pinerine? Wolverfox?
