I picked a good week to take a break.

I have 4 eligible heroes -AstWolv, torchy the battery boy, BP and Psylocke. Just completed the basic mode using only 1 restore, 1/5 of the way to the first decent reward. Feels like too kuch effort but what else am I gunna do?

I feel like I should max out modern storm or something.

Or hawkeye, I guess if I want to do a 2 star.

so the only buffed character is Human Torch?

they should have buffed BAGITOS

flew cross country today & my flight had wifi but it was like $14 & I thought about buying it so that I could play MPQ the whole time but if I'm gonna spend money on the game I'd rather just get a bunch of hero points, and that ain't gonna happen

so I worked instead.

Black Panther + mod Storm works pretty well in this event, but then I'm only using Human Torch as a meatshield.

Just pulled the last 2* Wolvie that I needed to max him out! Finally have an actual maxed 2* roster now:

leveled my psymops over 100 now for the heroic event. still pretty meh. burned some iso on moonstone for the pvp as well. in retrospect probably shoulda taken my panther up past 40 instead. all the prizes are still stupid fatcaps so dunno why i'm bothering. on the other hand, pulled a green rags from the pvp token, and a red one from the last tourney so now i'm at 5/2 which is semi-usable if i bothered.

scorch's green is fun to play, but paired with psy i always take her red and black over his. bags is actually useful in the goon fights for some meh countdown management since my better alternatives are all disallowed.

Torch's green ability is a ton of fun, esp when paired with a green battery like Daken

I only have three usable characters for heroic mode so it is a serious fucking slog.

This challenge in expert mode with Venom and two purple generators has me beaten.

3 open roster spots, 425 hp
Punisher maxed to cover limit, picked up a red hulk and maxed that to cover limit, having a go at building up classic storm to her level 85... up 28 levels this week and should get her finished by early may i guess my god i need new hobbies.
from there, i suppose i build up patch, classic mag, patch, grey widow, ragnarok, loki and i40 to their cover max (in that order) unless covers for spidey, hulk, ares, punisher, doom, hood, lazy thor/cap, black panther or torch fall my way.
i need a new event. or we need to fill up our alliance so we can get bigger reward cards during events. either way it's pretty tedious right now.

i40 is just the most boring card and unless i pick up a few more yellows, more of a meat shield with my current lineup.

once i get classic storm fully leveled, i'll have six two stars maxed and four one stars. nowhere to go from there but into the three star stop-and-start and eventual "goddammit i guess i buy a stark's salary pack" cave-in

Update info:

- The final standings will now be available for any finished Event or Tournament for a time after its completion.
- Agents can keep retired Event Tokens after an event ends. Event Tokens will no longer be replaced with Heroic Tokens.
- A new type of Daily Reward has been implemented as a way to entice Agents to join Alliances. Each day, other active Agents will contribute Iso-8 to a fund that will be delivered to Alliance members.

i joined the hulk tourney way too early... tried to cram at the end, didn't even hit fucking 50. i was around 650 points. insane. and the low-level hulk was red, too... my hulk is currently 5/0/5. ARGH at least i haven't hit his current level cap yet... although i probably will long before i get another chance for a red hulk. sigh.

In other news, I have over 100K is ISO. There are some deviants on the D3P forums advocating using ISO to gamble on standard pulls.

hulk now 5/3/5, guess i might as well work on maxing him out.

that's an optimal build and a maxed hulk would be top of the list on skippable fights for me, buffed or not.

Are there any spots open in the alliance? I'm new to this but slowly gaining steam.

we have 6 HYPOTHETICAL spots available but they will cost 1500, 1600, 1700, etc HP apiece to unlock
all the top alliances roll 20 deep with heavy players so breaking into that sweet top 50 collective requires expansion
but shit is expensive!
and only people in the alliance can buy spots. and no, you can't pool HP. Or transfer it.

Woof, that's rough. I understand not being able to transfer, but why on earth don't they people pool it?

If we are in a gap for new characters I will save for one rather than buy new slots - sold a Bagman and a ModHawk so I wouldn't be tempted to spend the HP.

How do you guys approach PvP? My team isn't that good so I don't feel like I can just grind it at the last minute. I need to build up a little bit of a point base in the first two days, so I've been playing a little bit after each new day starts. Are you guys waiting?

I tend to wait, though for the last PVP I jumped in right from the beginning; when I checked back in, I saw that the leader had over 1000 points, whereas if the leader when I wait tends to have 600-700, or 800 tops.

So, the issue of when to enter a PVP is a tradeoff: do you want the progression awards (if so, jump in early to build up your totals), or do you want to place well (if so, wait a while)?
