I love the hunt, it's an ISO-8 buffet

3 consecutive standard pulls: Green Patch, who cares C Storm, Blue BP.

I pushed last night to #15 with very little resistance/retaliation until 30 minutes left, but had to go out and shielded. Wonder if I could've gotten two HTs instead of one if I'd played till the end.

New PVP has Punisher covers! Stayed up till 3AM last night to start working on that.

Just tried to take on a maxed Spidey/Pun team in the HT PVP with my 85 OBW/Wolverine. Won't make that mistake again for a while.

High lvl Pun is so dangerous

I think if our alliance members went balls out in the torch tourney today that we'd stand a good chance of a top 100 finish---and thus a green Pun cover. LETS DO THIS

Ugh got the shit kicked out of me by Lvl 132 Bullseye, Ares, Venom. Tried to kill Bullseye first to eliminate the protection tiles.
Killed him but immediately had CStorm killed and OBW almost killed in one attack, Modern Thor wasn't long for this world

balled hard last night, made it top 10 in the hotshot tourney, got two Pun covers, so now mine's 4-4-3. feel like he can be a big player now. mine's at 93/115 right now, but buffed in the army of one tourney that's like 160+. running there with my 5-3-3 l115 Model 40 + maxed OBW, pretty mean team

good week; lots of three star covers. highlights: two Pun covers, at least two Human Torch covers, and a Psylocke cover. after maxing my MagNow this weekend I'm now going to work on level capping my three stars, starting with Pun.

At least six 3* covers added, including my first two CMags covers. (Finally!) Juggs also added back in. Loki got 15 levels in a moment of weakness -- I am no good with storing ISO.

I've actually been thinking again of taking a break from this stupid game. :\

I'm sad that the Pun tourney is ending. I just shielded up at just over 800. my Pun is now level 104, and running him buffed in this tourney has been so much fun.

I get that "board control" is a fun way to play this game, but I'm happiest when I have a team where every match contributes to powering up some skill. no wasted matches. my 115 Model 40 + 104 Pun + 85 OBW team does this now. like there's no one way that I have play to get this team to work. if there's purple or blue that's what I harvest first; but if not, then I take whatever there is, in whatever order. black Pun blasts are great, but if I get off a green Pun first then the black Pun blast will be even better afterward. and I can choose to pop Pun's red on someone at 30% health, or wait a couple of red matches and then take out a biggie with IM's red. yellow goes right into IM recharge, which at 3 triggers a green Pun blast in addition to the usual red + blue (usually a heal for OBW and a big chunk toward another IM red blast). so much fun

four three star covers so far today! my hunt token this morning got me a Doom black; I got two GSBW (green & purple) from the Pun tourney; and just got a Torch red on my daily reward heroic draw

got a bunch of ISO 8 too from all the events & have my Pun up to 109/115 now; figure the benefit of having high level three stars outweighs spreading it out to other chars (like GSBW) who are presently buffed. I did not get attacked nearly as much during the Pun tourney as I've been in recent past, & I guess that's because I'm running with two three-stars over level 100. certainly I skip those! (though with my 5 blue Spidey maybe I shouldn't; it's just that playing with five blue Spidey is kinda slow & tedious)

pulled top 10 in big pun, barely, so now my gsbw is respecced to 4/4/5. a fifth green and i'm set.

the new "season 1" thing on top of the hunt just going on and on is too much _stuff_. part of me wants to take a break, but i'm hooked

How are you guys going to approach 'season one' strategically?

I don't know - I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed right now with all the options - 5 more days of The Hunt, the GSBW tourney, Villain lightning round, Season 1 SHIELD...

I mostly skip villain lightning rounds b/c I don't have a high leveled three star villain. My GSBW has a current level cap of 53 & she's only getting a 14 level boost in that tourney so I'm not gonna be able to compete for a top rank; maybe I'll try to get top 50 & make progress in Season 1. I'm gonna keep rocking the Hunt b/c I'm currently in position to get one Falcon cover, and because I score a lot of ISO-8 in that tourney. not sure about SHIELD yet.

I don't understand this season stuff.

I'm constantly on the edge of #100 position in The Hunt (for one Falcon card) so I guess I'll keep shooting for that, but it's exhausting keeping up with that event alone. My GSBW is power-maxed and at Lvl 119 it would be a chump move NOT to get in on that tourney, but.. eh do I really care about Fat Thor? Not really, but obviously this means the next tourney will feature him so... IT'S ALL A TRAP DAMN IT

This would be an opportune time to finally land an elusive Fat Thor, but that'd involve me not using OBW. I may finally max out my C Storm in that case! Though any real MPQing will have to wait for Thursday on my part.

the hunt is great for steady HP accumulation too.

i use lrs to occasionally tank and thats it.

the only great reward from season 1 is top 100 alliances only and i figure that's a write off for us, so i'll play it like normal events i think and ignore the meta-grind.

LRs are impossible for me. I just get the first two progression rewards, then ignore them.

we *could* be one of the top 100 alliances but I guess we aren't all super dedicated to this so alas. but I'm happy to get getting the lesser rewards too.

how often do you guys dump / let expire cards not already in your roster? i have four 3*s in the hopper and they expire in 4-6 days each. getting a little nervous.

I sell all 1 stars I don't already have (i.e. Belena Hawkeye and Venom). otherwise I haven't sold a card I can't use since maybe my second week playing. but that was a long time ago now & with all the three stars there are now I guess newbies have to do this pretty often.
