I never see the satire! The show is self-aware to a degree that's exceptional for the genre, and funnier than almost all of them, but RPDR is fundamentally a part of that genre. I almost think reality tv is impossible to satirize without an actual script, a la the Onion's "Sex House."

I think that a lot of cable channels, although they aren't bound by FCC regs, self-censor for the sake of advertisers.

I love Adore too, and I think she's going to have a great career but imo it would be a bit insulting to Bianca if she won. I think Bianca really really deserves it. She just kicked ass the whole season, challenge after challenge. She wasn't even in the bottom three once. She definitely won the Race.

This finale reminds me a bit of Chad vs Sharon, the seasoned queen vs the fresh loveable new talent. Except this time around Bianca was 100 times more interesting than Chad, while Adore is not yet as polished and fully-developped as Sharon was.

I kind of heard about that. Is she doing it to be controversial? She seems more intelligent than that. She was hilarious last night. Alaska and her were definitely the funniest.

I never did get the full details beyond the fact that it sounds like some weird misunderstanding. (Which, of course, it easily couldn't be.)
