hellbaby (hellbaby), Wednesday, 25 December 2002 05:53 (twenty-one years ago) link

Hmmm...I think about my favourite albums a lot, but I don't think in terms of my fave BANDS as much.

However...

Low
My Bloody Valentine
Pavement

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Thursday, 26 December 2002 01:29 (twenty-one years ago) link

The Fall
Pop Group (Mark Stewart's solo albums were also rather brilliant)
Can

Those aren't the bands I'm listening to most at the moment, but they're the bands who've given me the most entertainment over the last couple of decades.

Dave K, Thursday, 26 December 2002 05:42 (twenty-one years ago) link

i'd say:
Ground Zero
Bark Psychosis
Charalambides

reserving the right to substitute AMM and Pentangle for any of the above, at any time.

summerslastsound (summerslastsound), Thursday, 26 December 2002 06:01 (twenty-one years ago) link

my 3 favourite bands are -
the stooges
the saints (1974-1980)
cosmic psychos

why? -
they are 3 bands that really kick out the jams
with truly individual expressions of punk
these guys won't ever date

Does spotify have info on my most played artists and songs of all time? 1. Stereolab
2. Can
3. Grimes

✖✖✖ (Moka), Tuesday, 19 June 2018 02:35 (five years ago) link

they did a 2017 year-end thing. it works for me to just go here to see it, if you're logged into your spotify account: https://open.spotify.com/genre/2017-page

obviously DLC (Karl Malone), Tuesday, 19 June 2018 02:39 (five years ago) link

Ah but that one only gives me the 2017 ones. I want one for the 10 years or so I’ve been on spotify.
