Probably "A Sunday" but its been way too long since I've listened to this record. Time to revisit!

really wish i could vote for the whole "ten"/"just watch the fireworks"/"for me this is heaven" section, which is so gorgeously paced

The whole album is gorgeously paced. The opening triptych is particularly impressive if only for its sheer range--like, here's how you go from slowcore to mainstream pop to Fugazi in a three-song blur.

I'm finding it hard to pick one song to vote for here because I don't think there's one song that best *represents* the album. I'm not sure that should be the criteria for picking a favourite song off of any album anyway, but I really don't know how I would go about trying to sell someone on Clarity on the basis of one track alone. That said, I'll probably stick with "A Sunday," a favourite mixtape opener of mine circa 1999/2000.

might just go drive over to sky harbor so i can turn around and drive away from it with that song cranked and look back on it in longingly through the rearview whilst screaming the lyrics. would probably make it home around the time the track ends lol.

are we going to poll Futures? that's the one I have the most fun playing God with btwn the bonus tracks and the Stay on My Side Tonight tunes. (anything to ditch "Drugs or Me".)

heard this for the first time & totally regret having always written them off because of "the middle", gorgeous album that finds a real sweet spot with its sound. "goodbye sky harbor" is astounding
