Pulled a black Hulk from a Heroic, and a green Punisher from a Standard!

so i hit a sweet spot and uninstalled. OBW and CStorm were maxed out meaning i'd have to start maxing out someone else, and in order to do that i'd have to dedicate more weekends and nights to it and it didn't seem worth it. if the 10-pack were in reach i'd be going for that but alas. the carrot was being dangled just a little bit too far away and i had an out.

now i'll have to find another game to play on the terlet

also i spent all my HP on heroic covers and got an xforce wolvie lol

7 new covers including a Hood cover I spent HP on. Ares sold because I had outgrown him. Psy and Hood leveled up.

I love using The Hood. Who needs to match the right colors when the game will just give them all to you?

Man... this new healing thing. Looks like I'll be leaning hard on Wolvie/Daken from now on.

I lag so far behind with the new characters. I'm lucky to have 2 or 3 of their cards, which makes them pretty much worthless.

It takes a long time to build up 3*s. I think I have only one card for Lazy Daken, Sentry, Falcon, and most of the new guys, but I've been gradually building up some of the ones like Human Torch, Lazy Thor/Cap, Black Panther, and so on through token draws. The thing is, none of them are particularly useful compared to my existing 141s, so it'll probably be months before I start regularly using them outside of character tourneys.

Seriously though they need a stream of constant new single player missions, PVP sucks at the "everyone has maxed 141s" level, it pushes the game to the breaking point quick (hello Classic Mags)

I'm not even close to building up another 3 star yet. Closest is GSBW, and I'm only 4/1/1 on her. Oh and Wolvie X, but whatever with him. I get the same feeling when I get a Wolvie X card as I do when I get another Bags.

Oh, I guess IM40 is closer, but man, he's boring.

got four GSBW in the HT tourney, finished #3. got a black hulk cover from a draw which I've been craving b/c he eats me up.

Wait, what. What does this mean for OBW?

New feature: True Healing

Characters receive true healing if their powers heal their wounds. Character powers that ease combat but don't heal wounds provide temporary health.
- The following abilities are considered true healing:
- Ares (Dark Avengers): Sunder - This ability is more a moment of weakness than actual damage, so Ares gains health back when the weakness passes.
- Daken (Classic) and (Dark Avengers Wolverine): Healing & Heat
- Wolverine (Patch) and (Astonishing X-Men): Healing Factor
- Wolverine (X-Force): Recovery- The following abilities are considered temporary healing:
- Black Widow (Original): Anti-Gravity Device - This ability uses gravitic fields that lets heroes fight more easily despite injuries. It doesn't heal them of these injuries however.
- Spider-Man (Classic): Web Bandages - These bandages help heroes fight through pain but do not provide actual healing.
- She-Hulk (Modern): Reprieve – She-Hulk allows for the team to take a rest from combat for a moment and gather their strength but does not heal any wounds.

I use OBW to get through hard matches. Easy matches is just a waste of time.

Well, true healing sucks just as much as I thought it would. What are the chances they change it back?

Probably low, the idea is to entice people into buying health packs with $$$. For me it just means I'll play even less than I was already

I basically have no chance of getting heroic tokens anymore.

the argt they make is it encourages roster diversity.

I was going to quit today but I got a Falcon on a heroic pull and a Storm Mohawk on a standard pull. It's like the game knew.

On back to back pulls, I might add.

I got two Puns from the Daredevil tourney, but I'm already 141, bleh. could respec to 4-5-4, aiming toward 3-5-5, or could stay at 5-5-3. not sure how much I care to have the red at 5. reason in favor of respec: I have Psylocke at 5 black and at 128, and BP at 3 black and max 128. for both black is their strongest color so if I run with Pun + either of them I'll want black to go to them rather than Pun. not sure

I would never use Pun and Psy on the same team. They're too similar.

Sold IM40 at level 106 so I could start a new one with 2 yellow -- I was never using him. Pun, DD and Loki cover maxed.

Daredevil is kind of the Bag-man of the 3* characters. So bad! But fun when he does something! Does OK as a third with Thor and Hood.

ran the DD tourney w/ cmags and panther, so never even fired off a DD power since cmags has a total overlap and his powers are all better.

off to a slow start in the PVE but it looks like my bracket is flagging a bit so I'm starting to stay in the top 100 consistently.

not sure who to level next. just been tossing my ISO here and there to whoever is up in each tourney, since I have a good "core team" at the moment.

with the healing change i might switch it up to push a few more folks into the 140 range.

punisher, hulk, and gsbw are good candidates in that regard -- all covermaxed but not fully leveled.

other *** with some leveling available (not necessarily to 141, but to over 100 at least) are doom, iron man, human torch, hood, daredevil

Yeah it is making me lose interest pretty fast.

The main thing I've learned is that you should use BW's healing as soon as you have access to it, basically, to avoid lasting damage. Before I was holding off as long as was reasonable, but that strategy is dead now.

My X-Force Wolvie is now at 138, but still seems less useful than NOW Magneto or NOW Thor

he is useless at any level.

I'm thinking that I might use Loki and Bagman in every PVP event for a while, see how far I can get
