Tried to order one today, the store's ordering computers crashed before I could place it. Wonderful!

Ordered two 6's at 2 AM this morning. Kind of sucked to wake up at two and spend over $700, but YOLO.

I think I'm going to take advantage of my friend's long-running scheme of having all of his extended family on his verizon plan, and then making the old people keep the same phone for years.

Good: faster, more storage, better camera, NFC
Bad: bigger

I'm kinda not compelled here, even though Glyde makes this a pretty affordable upgrade. I guess I'll go play with one and see how I feel.

^ where I'm at, I printed out a paper size template that someone put up and played around with it. I'm not so much concerned about the size pocket-wise but I definitely won't be able to hit the top-left corner with my right thumb while holding it in one-handed typing position, which irks me. In person next to the 5S though (I have a 4S still) it might just seem way better regardless, so that's what I intend to find out.

lol at all the people wondering how a 6+ is going to fit in their pockets. I've got an LG G2 with a 5.2" diag display and it fits in my pocket just fine. It's so thin it's even less noticeable than an older iPhone. A larger smartphone isn't the size of a compact car, ffs.

sometimes my iPhone 5 ends up sideways in my pocket anyway, which really sucks.

A word of warning, though. It will take time for your hand to adjust to the larger size. However, when you go back to do anything on your 4 or 5, it will feel like a child's toy.

4 million preorders for 6 and 6+, but they don't break down preorders between the two

6+ looks hueg in people's hands in the media pics I've seen so far

They didn't break down numbers for the 5s/5c either and then it turned out nobody wanted the 5c xp

The 6+ was harder to order, but they might have made like 1/5 as many for all we know.

feel like the 6 will be more popular, def seen way more android devices that size than lol huge phablets, tho obvs there all sorts particular reasons re pricing and marketing that cld be true for android and not apple

wld assume iphone owners are much less likely to use their phone as their primary/only device than andriod users and therefor less likely to need a phablet

All true but this is also up from 2 million preorders for the 5 so seems pretty good for Apple overall no matter what the breakdown is

5c's gonna do better this year than last year in the US as the free-on-contract phone imo

ya 5c was never in competition w the 5s it was the replacement for the year-old phone

was hoping this year theyd have like 6, 6c, and 6x instead of the new, year old, and two year old phones cause itd be cool to have three diff new designs but i guess the upsizing ruined that plan
