New Apple Lust Objects for 2010 and onward

it was funny, two weeks ago (pre iPhone 6 announcement) I was out around town and saw three people with phablet-style phones. two were women with purses, and the third was a dude with cargo pants.

so I guess if you are a person who has a way to carry larger stuff as part of your lifestyle, it fits in. if not, you probably carry some sort of bag/satchel/backpack/briefcase when you need to carry more and you can just get an iPad mini or w/e

i am 5'5" and skinny so I look really stupid in cargo pants. OTOH I am already almost never without my murse.

Am I alone with this? My iPhone 6 has issues dropping from the 4G network every time I wander out of a WiFi network. I'll have to dip it in and out of airplane mode to force it to reconnect to data.

i don't just sit down with the phone in my pocket, i bike with the phone in my pocket. kinda non-negotiable, i don't want to carry a bag 100% of the time.

I really don't feel like there's much pressure on my phone when I sit with it in the front pocket -- maybe these people are wearing some tight-ass pants or have some thick-ass thighs.

Tried to buy an iPhone 6 online from Verizon but their website was broke down. It failed Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, but at different places consistently on each.

idk if it was mentioned here but through the end of the month they're offering $200 trade-in value on iPhones ($300 for the 5S) when you buy a 6. Better than Nextworth. I'll be glad to say goodbye and fuck you to AT&T.

I went into my 5's port yesterday and scraped out a bunch of lint n stuff & it was a little easier to get it to charge today, so I'm hoping that's all it was. I don't want to go all fixerupper on it if I don't have to (do NOT want to get a new phone right now)

I actually noticed that a third-party cable acted up in the car and didn't maintain a connection well whereas the apple one worked fine. Wonder if that's only been a problem with the lightning cables.

I think I maybe fucked up my 4S's dock connector with a cheap cable before (my friend has now replaced the connector for me). The Apple cables are so OTT expensive though. I wish I could just find a midrange one I could trust. Actually I did: an Amazon-branded one, but it's black rather than white and has the Amazon logo stinking things up a bit.

my iphones battery is failing and ive watched several of those videos
the cost differential of buying replacement battery and philips 00 whatever screwdriver vs getting a professional to do it is minimal, perhaps £25
nonetheless i would like to replace it myself, not that i ever fix anything myself but the phone is somehow personal in a way idk a microwave or whatever isnt
still its just too intricate and idont really trust myself to replace it without fucking something up so its probably going to the repair people
