It was about a year ago, I turned up all sweaty, with 11 minutes to departure time, skipped the ticket desk queue and said "I'm not checking bags, can I just get on" and she pointed me in the right direction. I skipped the security queue, and that was it. Got some scowls on board, tho.

If there is a spare place going on Friday, my pal Ryan who some of you have met would quite like to come along too. So he can be on the subs list if it drops below whatever number we actually settle on.

RJG, if my car hadn't broken down I'd have given you a lift - I love the road to Prestwick at that time in the morning. I have done it a couple of times for friends/family.

RJG, as long as you are there 25 mins before an internal flight, you'll get away with it...anything after 25 mins and they are bastards and don't let you on...

I still don't quite know what to make of Mono. It needs the full range of Sam Smiths, a lower ceiling, different chairs and tables and proper food. The homemade lemonade, ginger beer and that new berry drink I tried the other night are aces though, as is Monorail. It's easy for me to get to as well, being close to the number 40 route.

I am getting an 11.30am train to catch a 6.30pm flight. So I had better take a book too.

It seems like Glasgow has stepped up the fapping a lot since I left.

I really like Mono, but they need more and better chairs, and yes, Madchen is right, proper food. Who are the people on the ceiling supposed to be?

If there's four or five of us in each cab it'll be cheaper than the bus. But yeah, I agree not Mono this time. I would love to nab the snug at the back of the Steps, but every time I suggest that pub there is some resistance.

I will be trying Glasgow on the 18th Nov. Unfortunately it will only be long enough to get from central to buchanan st on my way to visit my friend in Linlithgow, as she's recently produced a sproglet. Also unfortunate is the fact that due to being miserly I won't be coming back the same way as I bought very cheap singles and am returning gner, so won't be able to meet anyone for drinks. Assuming anyone would be up for that.

But Chris and I will be trying Glasgow at some point in the future.

I haf bought my ticket, and being a cheapskate it is non-negotiable. Also, I can't remember what time I get into Central Station, I don't get into Linlithgow until after 8, so i think it's after finishing time. I guess I could buy a single from buchanan st to linlithgow, depending on the timings.

But we will be trying Glasgow properly in the new year sometime. I tried to buy tickets last night, but there appears to be engineering work or something on the west coast line in January which would mean three changes and leaving london at 5pm and only arriving in glasgow at a couple of minutes to midnight.
