I really expected I'd like the Spinnerette album more than I do. I mean, I like it fine, but it was something I figured I'd be listening to non-stop and that's not what happened.

I was a huge fan of Brody Dalle's solo album Diploid Love when it came out, but have never been able to get into the Distillers proper. Hopefully enough time has past since both those things that whatever comes of this project will be both new and good.
