This girl from Australia has the funniest recaps on the web: http://blandcanyon.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/rupauls-drag-race-recap-season-7.html

LeRooLeRoo, Sunday, 8 March 2015 15:46 (nine years ago) link

Oh nice (since Tom/Lorenzo seem to be slacking off at this point).

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 8 March 2015 15:52 (nine years ago) link

And Coco and Isis are back!

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 8 March 2015 17:40 (nine years ago) link

Episode 2! Starting! On the east coast, shortly, etc. etc.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 00:57 (nine years ago) link

LIVVY

:D

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 March 2015 02:10 (nine years ago) link

Okay that made for a great ending. (And was not the Olivia song I would have picked, even though I was just thinking about it recently!)

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 05:03 (nine years ago) link

Ru is such a nerd with her special guest judges & song choices

also Sasha Belle's sad boob malfunction was hilarious and a fitting punctuation to her overall sad-drag

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 March 2015 05:39 (nine years ago) link

The best thing she did was show up in the Milla Jovovich/Fifth Element knockoff right from her introduction and even that wasn't much. Combine that with the pretension that being a self-proclaimed hyperfan of the show who had 'cracked the code' was enough and yikes, crash and burn, especially after Katya pulled off the fast AND slow splits.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 14:24 (nine years ago) link

Oh and can I just say -- Moby? Out of nowhere? Getting blown? As it were.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 14:25 (nine years ago) link

yeah that was weird and awesome

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 March 2015 16:23 (nine years ago) link

Also I love how in the space of six months or so Jordin Sparks has been in a Left Behind reboot and shown laughing her ass off at a group lipsync routine full of reverse cowgirl action and oral sex and etc.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 16:27 (nine years ago) link

As much as I didn't enjoy her last week, I thought Jasmine should've been in the top 3 this week. Fashion really isn't her thing, but she might keep herself on the show with her lipsynch like Coco and Trinity did. I do agree Ginger deserved the win though.

LeRooLeRoo, Tuesday, 10 March 2015 17:48 (nine years ago) link

Yeah Jasmine did a great job. Glad Ginger got the win all the same, she's sassy!

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 March 2015 18:00 (nine years ago) link

Moby should've won for his best Thom Yorke drag.

Wondering if Katya really is a former Soviet gymnast now.

What.

What was Moby doing there. It was far from the stupidest thing Moby's ever done, but it was definitely the stupidest thing RPDR has ever done.

Eric H., Wednesday, 11 March 2015 13:47 (nine years ago) link

I like to think this season he'll just be inviting his random buddies to appear each episode.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 11 March 2015 14:32 (nine years ago) link

it really was the weirdest thing

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 15:53 (nine years ago) link

oh and stupid, no question

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 15:53 (nine years ago) link

You know, I'm very surprised and disappointed that the pretty girls are so conceited and precious about their looks.

Romo... ROMO! Bring Back Sergio Romo! (Leee), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 17:26 (nine years ago) link

stop relying on that body-ody-ody

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 17:41 (nine years ago) link

Building toward another boogers vs. heathers season?

Eric H., Wednesday, 11 March 2015 18:21 (nine years ago) link

kinda feels that way a little bit

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 18:23 (nine years ago) link

Uuuughh.

Though maybe flipping the n00b/veteran alignment might make it more palatable.

Romo... ROMO! Bring Back Sergio Romo! (Leee), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 18:26 (nine years ago) link

i really hope that violet gets read to filth by michelle visage soon, like i really want that to happen so bad

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 19:48 (nine years ago) link

I just realized that I'm glad Sasha Belle was eliminated because I couldn't tell her apart from Mrs. Kasha Davis.

Romo... ROMO! Bring Back Sergio Romo! (Leee), Wednesday, 11 March 2015 23:54 (nine years ago) link

Mrs Kasha is not a hot mess, that's how you can tell her from Sasha

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 12 March 2015 00:30 (nine years ago) link

And Kasha is the one who looks like Nina Flowers out of drag?

Romo... ROMO! Bring Back Sergio Romo! (Leee), Thursday, 12 March 2015 00:31 (nine years ago) link

also FYI Pandora Boxx is doing weekly 5 min episode recaps on Logo, they're pretty fun

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 12 March 2015 00:32 (nine years ago) link

xpost maaayyybe idk

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 12 March 2015 00:33 (nine years ago) link

Yes and yes! Not sure yet about her housewife drag esthetic though. She doesn't stand out much so far.

LeRooLeRoo, Thursday, 12 March 2015 02:38 (nine years ago) link

Kasha's deal is that she's part of Pandora/Darienne's family from Rochester. Buuut I can't say she's as sharp as those two yet, or at least we haven't seen it.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 12 March 2015 02:56 (nine years ago) link

This is just awesome

LeRooLeRoo, Thursday, 12 March 2015 15:22 (nine years ago) link

Yeah, def the winning team there.

Eric H., Thursday, 12 March 2015 15:52 (nine years ago) link

Can I just say, tho, that this was maybe the most bizarre and loosely defined runway challenge I've seen in a long while?

Eric H., Thursday, 12 March 2015 15:53 (nine years ago) link

i really enjoyed the elimination challenge this week

i was high but..... the songs were all kinda great???

J0rdan S., Thursday, 12 March 2015 16:06 (nine years ago) link

since i can't really remember who is who this early in any reality show, my lone thought on this season is that it seems to have a higher than normal rate of queens who are cute as boys

J0rdan S., Thursday, 12 March 2015 16:07 (nine years ago) link

also if you can break each season's contestants into 50's queens, big diva queens, comedy queens and young high fashion socialite queens it seems like this year's big diva queens are the most talented of any of the other groups

J0rdan S., Thursday, 12 March 2015 16:09 (nine years ago) link

a higher than normal rate of queens who are cute as boys

About the same, but the ones who are cute this season are reaaaaaaaaaaaallllllly cute. Pearl, in particular.

Eric H., Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:12 (nine years ago) link

yeah maybe that's it

J0rdan S., Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:17 (nine years ago) link

Perl is REALLY cute as a girl, too.

Romo... ROMO! Bring Back Sergio Romo! (Leee), Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:23 (nine years ago) link

Right. If only he had Raja's personality, I'd be in love.

Eric H., Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:45 (nine years ago) link

And speaking of:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEHTdh02UxQ

The KLF joke near the end I did NOT expect...but it's perfect.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 March 2015 00:31 (nine years ago) link

lool Raja's face at that KLF zing

and I love how pissed off Raven was about Sasha Belle. so otm. That wig(s) was sooooo heinous

difficult-difficult lemon-difficult (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 13 March 2015 01:16 (nine years ago) link

Perhaps inevitable. Perhaps?

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 March 2015 16:27 (nine years ago) link

Some costume spoilers there but right now I'm starting to think if I have an overall season favorite it might be a tossup between Max and Ginger. But that said...still very early days yet and honestly nobody is totally standing out for me yet as a definite winner. Whole lotta midrange.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 March 2015 16:29 (nine years ago) link

Rooting for Max because she's the hometown girl, but I really want her to blow the weird factor out waaaaay further (the same way I felt about Milk tbh).

Eric H., Friday, 13 March 2015 16:45 (nine years ago) link

Guess Willam really was ahead of his time

chilli, Friday, 13 March 2015 21:35 (nine years ago) link

In that he would've won any subsequent season, yeah.

Eric H., Friday, 13 March 2015 21:36 (nine years ago) link

Katya is still up there for me even after last week's episode. I think (hope) it was just an early mistep à la Raven and she will come back stronger and last until the top 3. She seems polished enough and funny enough to get there. Take me to the intersection of glamour and comedy!
