Anyone that could find an old Vox that still has original filter caps and would immediately gig it without any servicing whatsoever, and be surprised if it developed a problem, is a fool.

Yes, I've been called a 'GIG-PIG" and have actually encountered face to face friction from other players ...
Even cut down as being too techniqual & soulless from guys who would kill for my gigs ...

Are you familiar with monitoring a mic'd signal through a wedge/headphones, or are you a guitar-cab-pants-flapping guy?

As I said, I don't expect pants flapping bass but I do need something that won't fart out all the time at ~90-95 dB.
