I wish Katya could have won. But Ginger did great. Kennedy really went for it too!

fame said on Whatcha Packin that she wants to bring drag to high-fashion & be a drag fashion model. She could totally pull that off. She has so much poise on the runway & her face is always goddamn immaculate.

Like, she *could* give us Raja levels of amazing but she's still kinda...undercooked? I dont think she's quite there yet but I think she is capable of killing it even if she is a complete dork inside

I agree with what everyone said. Katya was awesome, so was Ginger. Fame is gorgeous and a bit clueless. The contrast is fascinating. Pearl looked amazing, not ugly at all! One of her best looks actually. Lipsynch was pretty boring though.

I liked Violet in the challenge. Anyone else thought she kind of looked like a Maya Rudolph character? And her runway is ALWAYS on point. She has really grown on me with each episode.

Violet's a lot more enjoyable now that she's loosened up in the workroom. If Drag Race was solely runway, Violet and Fame would be top 2. Thankfully it's not that show lol.

has anyone seen Fame's new music video 'Rubber Doll'? Production is GORGEOUS...she looks amazing (she lacks a bit of conviction but hey, we knew that already). The song is ok. I don't like it as much as Alaska or Adore, but just the LOOK: holy shit, fucking sickening

"Rubber Doll" is surprisingly not bad! Reminds me a bit of "Toxic".

The lipsynch was shockingly bad. The song selection didn't help things but Pearl, honey... what are those dance moves? At least she was selling it with conviction, which is more than could be said for Fame. Yes, dear, your face is flawless. We know. Yawn.

Getting a little peeved at how few good lip sync battles there have been this season. Lotta double elimination missed opportunities tbh.

i dislike when the queens have to lipsynch for a pop singer guest judge to the current song they want to promote. the songs are mostly very bad and i mostly do not care. it's boring. i know ru needs to get these checks somehow but it really fucks up the climax of the episode in my damn humble opinion.

but even so! the song was so confusingly out of step for a john waters episode. literally any other song would have been more appropriate

Last week's was pretty great for the conjoined twins, too. But, yes, this trend of current pop divettes getting some random throwaway song no one will ever know by heart must stop.

as a gay nostalgia junkie i am v embarassed to admit that this show has introduced me to a lot of mid 80's freestyle pop jams that were maybe Top 10 but didn't necessarily hit #1 and were probably all over the radio at the time but aren't played that much since. I think being born in 1987 gives me a free pass, though.

i realize it's a requisite tool that every drag queen should have but i really dislike the sewing challenges so late in the season. i'm not trying to see these hobby lobby fashions.

To some degree I've danced all of the partner dances (I need to learn to vogue!), and Katya and Violet had the most technically demanding choreo and still managed to execute it the best, very well-earned win for them. I would've put Pearl/Kennedy in the bottom, though maybe because I actually do Charleston and did not like what I saw from either of them. I did agree with Carson(!) about Kennedy's energy level. Trix I thought had more energy than Ging, but that couple had a better performance since their choreo had more camp in it.

Travesty that Trixie went home? No. What's the opposite of travesty? That's what that was. What really irked me is that her boy side was so incredibly undercooked. Each of the other 5 got that the boy side had to be just as stylized as the girl side. Trixie literally half assed it. So much schadenfreude that she was literally the only one in Untucked that felt she had probably won.

Is next week a makeover challenge? They sort of already had that this season, no? I think Minj and Katya are looking pretty safe for the top 3 now. Third spot is a crapshoot.

Maybe Violet will turn it, who knows. It's getting interesting. I actually really like the whole top 5 this time

I like the whole top 5 too, but my top 3 is Katya, Violet and Ginger.

I thought Trixie looked better than Ginger and their lipsynchs were equally great, but I knew Ginger wasn't going home. Trixie was put in a difficult position trying to live up to huge expectations and probably feeling a bit disconected after missing several weeks of the competition.

Pearl in a tuxedo looked like Justin Timberlake. Also, flazé-dah!

I fully expect violet to be in the top three because she has the tidiest season-long emotional arc and Ru loves to dramatize that shit. ("i'm mostly a bitch but i'm learning how to let people in."; see also: Bianca del Rio)

I agree I'm probably being manipulated but it's working! I've always been impressed by her looks though.

Sorry, didn't comment earlier this week -- about to move and things are busy! But yes, great episode for sure. RuView fun as always.
