What does that mean?

it means not enough money has been bet on the cavs to win the series to have moved the odds very far in the direction of even money

no it's the opposite!

the line was -235 a couple of days ago (meaning you needed to bet $235 to win $100). the fact that it's moved to -180 (meaning you win $100 on a bet of $180) means a lot of people were liking the cavs' odds (which were something in the neighborhood of +200, or bet $100 to win $200). personally i thought the warriors at -235 was a steal, so -180 is even better

maybe the uncertainty around klay is contributing to it

i would basically put my life savings on warriors @ -180

yeah everybody I've asked who they've got they're like "well the cavs have lebron and he is good"

I'm def not as confident in the warriors winning as you all but that is 100% based on the fact that I've been following this team for 25+ years and there's still too much pessimism left over from years and years of underperforming. I just can't let my expectations run wild. I still can't believe they've made it this far I don't know how to act. it's like I'm just waiting for Adonal Foyle to suit up in boguts place or something.

Y'all, this is as close to a lock of a finals pick a you're gonna get. It'll go 5 if the Warriors are feeling generous.
