blackhawks have been great for awhile now and lots of people I know from back home are really really into them (they are def more popular than the Bulls locally) and I've tried to will myself into digging hockey but just can't do it

the sport itself is pretty boring but it doesn't help that typical BHawks fan as far as I can tell is a racist mook

This team — with the NBA’s best record, the MVP, the Executive of the Year and nearly the Coach of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year — is unrecognizable. They’ve inverted all the typical Warriors’ faults — poor drafting, me-first hero ball, rigid coaching, matador defense — and excelled at doing things the right way. I have years’ worth of muscle memory trained to expect the worst, but with this team, the breaks (so far) have almost all gone our way. I alternate between incredulity and euphoria.
