it's weird rooting against lebron, i haven't been particularly invested in any teams from the last few finals but i've always pulled for him

But yeah western conf finals would have been much more competitive and entertaining

injuries and timing of injuries are always such a huge deal. they are heavily favored tho so its not like they are an undeserving champ. altho yeah i def think they got lucky in not having to play LAC or SAS.

oh yeah i'm not saying dubs are undeserving, they're obv a historically amazing team, but more that i'll prob always think of 2014-15 as the year everyone got injured and the dubs managed to escape that

yeah the warriors did catch some lucky breaks with injuries, but thems the breaks. they probably would have won it all if everyone were healthy too

imo these playoffs have been grebt.

they were also the best team tho

xp that too, was hoping for at least a somewhat competitive series. and it was a very close game last night until OT

they were absolutely dominant all year and steph curry beat all the other first teamers, i don't mean to take anything away from them, just sux how many teams were hobbled either all season (thunder), or significantly once the playoffs came around (blazers), or decimated during the offs (hawks, wiz, grizz, cavs, basically everybody)

maybe this is so obvious as to not need mentioning but i do feel it needs mentioning for ilh posterity: cavs played kyrie 44 mins in his first game back after a knee injury and he injured his knee

its not 100% bad luck

oh for sure, he fell awkwardly on a knee that was already messed up. it's not a given that he would have been as good in the next few games as he was coming off of like a week of rest.

I've got the Warriors in a bet with a kid in my class. He wins, the class gets a free period to play around on their devices; I win, he has to go a full day without talking.

The rest of the class seems conflicted on whether they want the device time or a day where he doesn't talk.

it's the finals and he was playing well though, i don't have much of a problem with it

yeha obvs this is for all the marbles but they def took a risk

Broken kneecap much better than ligament damage but the tendinitis is troubling

tendinitis generally goes away with rest tho can be chronic, broken kneecap shd heal fine, kyrie played 44 mins an is now out of the finals
