apparently the antidote to miracle whip delly is miracle whip david lee

xxxxxpost the highest minute total Bron logged in a game in last year's Finals was 41. its' not a surprise why he's logging more due to the injuries but I mean those are still insane minutes, esp when you consider two OT games

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:01 (eight years ago) link

they r less insane when you consider the two OTs

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:02 (eight years ago) link

Wilbon talking about how many bumps and bruises Delly takes is really O_o.

like, I'm giddy from sleepiness, instead of nervous & twitchy from J.R. Smith

a good thing about the cavs winning is that we get the best game in any playoff series: the favorite down 2-1 on the road

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:13 (eight years ago) link

w's won that game in the Memphis series and we were all nervous about it too

Clay, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:14 (eight years ago) link

i want to remind everybody that steph did this to the birdman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x_C9EVES7M

i am keeping the faith

, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:16 (eight years ago) link

that's what I'm hoping for, grizz gave all they had in their two wins and were objectively a much better team than the cavs (and playing I guess the closest style to this cavs style but in a way better to watch) and ran into a wall just the same

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 04:16 (eight years ago) link

Most points in first 3 games of a single NBA Finals.

LeBron James - 123
Rick Barry - 122
Jerry West - 118

I'm straight up depressed rn.

Spottie, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 06:57 (eight years ago) link

these games have been awesome
DELLAVADOOOVAAAAAAAAAAA

i was happy to see Steph starting to get his mojo back and plugging insane threes, but it came too late

Nhex, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 07:00 (eight years ago) link

the lee/curry pick n roll was so beautiful it brought back some good memories they need more of that since draymond is either too shook to shoot or just drives into a turnover every time. green's playing himself out of some money with this series. barnes too.

since I'm just butthurt ill just complain about the dova dribbling violation that wasn't called on his way to his miracle run killing three point play and lebro wiping out currys legs with no call.

Spottie, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 07:07 (eight years ago) link

currys turnovers in the 4th were so dumb

Spottie, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 07:10 (eight years ago) link

Behind the back bounce pass to nobody got the high school coaches' attention

Mr. Murphy in the wine bar. (Sufjan Grafton), Wednesday, 10 June 2015 07:24 (eight years ago) link

lebro wiping out currys legs with no call.

if the cavs somehow come away with this, this is the play i will remember from this series i'm pretty sure

Clay, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 08:01 (eight years ago) link

terrific that delly has shown you seppos how much to harden up on the court

never heard of this Mark Knobfler bloke (King Boy Pato), Wednesday, 10 June 2015 09:17 (eight years ago) link

sure that must be it

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 10:47 (eight years ago) link

I was honestly surprised that lee did everything anyone could have expected and didn't even have opportunity to turn into a liability, really

at this point do you consider starting him (w the caveat that draymond will obv still get a ton of minutes) or is that simply too crazy/dangerous

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 11:46 (eight years ago) link

or try starting a small ball lineup with draymondo at center and lee at PF

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 11:47 (eight years ago) link

also just checked the box score and holy bejesus the dubs only got to the line for 12 attempts and made 7. how are they drawing barely any fouls other than a touch of #homecookin? and LOL that 5 of those 12 attempts (w 3 makes) were david goddamned lee

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 11:52 (eight years ago) link

they also need to not score in the teens in the 3d qtr wtf is goink on w/ that

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 12:03 (eight years ago) link

dubs need to pull this out in order to shut phil jackson up

, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 12:10 (eight years ago) link

agreed x 1,000

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 12:23 (eight years ago) link

looking at offensive stats, green and barnes are killing the warriors, yeesh.

i didn't see all of the game last night but fully support dusting off david lee, they're getting nothing on offense from the entire frontcourt and that's just not going to work.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 12:37 (eight years ago) link

part of me thinks maybe the dubs should consider rotating help onto lebron a little more often when he moves into the paint bc at this pt no cav is lights out from 3 and it seems like they're giving away a lot inside. but it also seems true that the cavs entire offensive game plan is to get the ball in brons hands to either pass out of the double or back down whoever so idk.

head clowning instructor (art), Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:32 (eight years ago) link

they shd def be brining some more hard doubles, more variety of looks imo

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:35 (eight years ago) link

ball denial, traps etc

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:36 (eight years ago) link

and they just cant let barnes guard him 1on1 hes getting destroyed

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:36 (eight years ago) link

yeah i'd start iggy and maybe lee, as crazy as that sounds

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:39 (eight years ago) link

with lee you worry about them getting shredded on defense but he's at least a competent offensive player. bogut and draymondo look like such stiffs right now

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:39 (eight years ago) link

concepcion on dellavedova:

He’s got a career PER of 9.6. Right now, as you sit at your desk or cubicle or breakfast nook or whatever, your PER is probably closer to Delly’s than Delly’s is to LeBron’s career 27.7 PER. His elite skill is that opponents look at him and go, “How the fuck is this even happening?”

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:40 (eight years ago) link

how much money did you lose k3v xp

― 龜, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 12:21 AM (10 hours ago)

not enough to care, but winning money is better than losing money. plus it's just the principle of the thing -- what's happening seems to be defying the laws of basketball

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:41 (eight years ago) link

xxp maybe also that works as a motivator to draymond and barnes to figure shit out?

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:41 (eight years ago) link

yeah i'd start iggy and maybe lee, as crazy as that sounds

id consider a iggy-lee-dray frontcourt

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:42 (eight years ago) link

yeah that might work, but they'll probably get killed on the offensive glass

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:43 (eight years ago) link

none of this should matter because the warriors are so much better! why are we even discussing this

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:43 (eight years ago) link

its just... life idk man

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:44 (eight years ago) link

if the warriors get nothign from draymond i'm not sure they're going to win the series, i would still run him out there and hope he unlocks it

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:44 (eight years ago) link

i think one of golden state's biggest problems right now is that everyone went into the series thinking they had three guys to throw at lebron and it turns out they only have igoudala, who has been doing a great job but if the series goes 6 or 7 games i wonder how long he can keep banging with lebron in the post without disintegrating

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:48 (eight years ago) link

yeah i think you gotta run with draymond but barnes needs to sit prob

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 14:48 (eight years ago) link

the warriors problems on defense pale in comparison to their problems on offense though, like if you can't top 96 points i don't even know
