if the warriors play good defense they'll be fine but this situation they have where draymond and iguodala just shoot 3s (a lot of 3s) in the half court is not optimal.

this version of the cavs proved that it can put an opposing team in a deep hole, but if it has to get out of one itself the prospects are not great bob

yeah i loved the iggy signing at the time but it's seemed like an acceptable overpay at best

but if we wins finals mvp or is at worst clearly the most important role player in a tight finals win??

all previous beefs aside, I really do think this series is showing that the warriors need to add someone who can create in the half court. They're trapping curry and then it's just 35% 3 pointers over and over. Missing Speights might be a bigger deal than I thought.

some of it may just be that the Cavs were secretly a good defensive team hiding beneath kyrie and love all along

both those things somewhat true imo, also dubs too slow to adjust to how cleves been defending them

anyway matt is right that the clock is going to strike 12 on iggy in the same way it did for kellevadova

but if lee can keep playing like this i feel like there's a pretty good chance the warriors get two good games per game out of some combo of the iggy/barnes/dray/lee group

once they got bogut/festus out the lane allowing steph to pass out of the trap to someone rolling into an empty lane everything opened up

a good player for the warriors would be luol deng, he's not a knockdown shooter but he would be a better playmaker running at the rim with no defender in front of him than anyone they have now

not sure i agree given only one of these guys is a 10-year vet who's got a career 14ppg avg

i do agree that this series has exposed an issue with the warriors' roster and offensive skills

iggy can have a good whole series hes not a garbage man like delly, his vaules mostly been in defending bron anyway, most of what hes done on offense has been pretty easy open jumpers and transition baskets

i mean those shots are there w cleve doubling steph on every touch

im not saying that iggy is going to be as bad as dellevadova just that like he regressed back to being an essentially worthless backup PG iggy is likely to regress back to being a wing player who can't reliably make a jumper

he might miss a couple more but hes getting such good looks cause clevelands loading up on splash bros so hard

i really dont know what the cavs are gonna do to counter the dubs adjustments they have such a limited roster, maybe just hope for a monster bron game or for jr to hi 7 threes

there's not much they can do but if kellevadova is gonna shoot 3-14 again they should consider playing more jr-shump back courts
