if the warriors didn't have igoudala the series might already be over

J0rdan S., Monday, 15 June 2015 18:19 (eight years ago) link

of course the same is true for lebron -- i can't see how anyone could vote against those numbers, but given how necessary igoudala has been in combating him i don't think he would be an insane pick

J0rdan S., Monday, 15 June 2015 18:21 (eight years ago) link

sure but if the cavs didn't have lebron it would've been a dubs sweep with a 30 point blowout each game

marcos, Monday, 15 June 2015 18:22 (eight years ago) link

they also would have been in the lottery so it's sort of a weird game to play

J0rdan S., Monday, 15 June 2015 18:24 (eight years ago) link

no one wins in an mvp debate

Spottie, Monday, 15 June 2015 18:28 (eight years ago) link

i saw a tweet yesterday that steph was feeling light headed after the game and had to lie down - any updatse?

, Monday, 15 June 2015 20:16 (eight years ago) link

I haven't heard anything recently, but it was reportedly dehydration and they didn't expect any complications from it.

Falconetti Pot (Leee), Monday, 15 June 2015 20:21 (eight years ago) link

supposedly left in an ambulance but got fluids and is good to go for tomorrow

Spottie, Monday, 15 June 2015 20:26 (eight years ago) link

, Monday, 15 June 2015 21:20 (eight years ago) link

lance to clips for hawes & barnes would be quite something http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--hornets--lance-stephenson-141352816.html

lebron with the most dominant finals performance ever by whatever wonky 538 metric

Clay, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 18:23 (eight years ago) link

are they using dominating in the very literal sense? like, he's statistically dominant as measured by percentage of team output

cavs are 6-33 for entire series when bron is on the bench lmao

, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 20:50 (eight years ago) link

bron is having an insane finals, dubs not doubling him ever is strange and unprecedented tho, especially since his supporting cast cant do anything, really dont understand

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:20 (eight years ago) link

like just dont double off moz rolling to the rim or jr behind the line and youre fine, bron will make the perfect pass every time but it wont really matter

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:21 (eight years ago) link

they did a lot more in game 4 but then backed off it again in 5. don't really get it either. basically just leave dova wide open imo

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:21 (eight years ago) link

i guess liek whatever the plan is working the cavs have not been good offensively the series is being kept close by them playing great D, tho if the dubs provoked more ball movement from the cavs by doubling maybe theyd create more turnovers/get out on the break idk the game plan is weird thats my official stance

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:23 (eight years ago) link

like a lot of trams wld be treating bron like the cavs are treating steph, trapping every pnr doubling him on the catch just take the ball out of his hands

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:25 (eight years ago) link

game plan and series are v weird yeah. idgi

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:27 (eight years ago) link

feel like if kerr had been quicker w the adjustments this wldve been over by now / not been as close

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:31 (eight years ago) link

yeah probs but pretty hard to go away from bogut when he's such a huge part of what got them there

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:55 (eight years ago) link

dudes just weren't playing v well either you know. draymond in partic

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:56 (eight years ago) link

tru

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 21:56 (eight years ago) link

lowe said i think the cavs pts per 100 this series would have only topped philly this season.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:01 (eight years ago) link

on the zach lowe/jvg podcast they were talking about how the warriors aggressively doubled moz in the post cuz they knew he would turn it over

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:02 (eight years ago) link

yeah that was a nice twist

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:03 (eight years ago) link

Most 3's Made in a Postseason
1.CURRY: 95
2.Reggie: 58
3.Ray Allen: 57

polyphonic, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:17 (eight years ago) link

not that close

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:20 (eight years ago) link

hopefully breaks 100 tonight

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:22 (eight years ago) link

re kerr - guessing he sees this is a conservative defense that precludes opportunities for other guys to have big games w the flip being that the scheme treats all cavs on the floor equally which is obv nonsense but has kept jr to 14ish ppg in the finals (not that he wouldn't have done that himself) and has only really broken down (in the sense of ultimate outcome) for that one game when delly was shooting well(ish) and an OT. they are forcing lebron to produce everything himself and making a bet on his efficiency (and his physical limits) and the fact that the cavs have kept things close is due to brons superhuman abilities (juice).

this is my guess at least. doubling bron is still something i think they could/should do

head clowning instructor (art), Tuesday, 16 June 2015 22:48 (eight years ago) link

not like they have to do it every time either, just enough to keep em all guessing

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 23:21 (eight years ago) link

they pretend like theyre gonna double him every play its weird

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 23:23 (eight years ago) link

I am ready now for the game to start is it soon

Clay, Tuesday, 16 June 2015 23:53 (eight years ago) link

Kid Charlemagne hahaha

, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 00:57 (eight years ago) link

get along

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 00:59 (eight years ago) link

here we go folks

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:05 (eight years ago) link

I'm gonna say like 60 percent chance dubs get it done, would go higher ordinarily but I can't count out bron in a corner, even if he's doing it all himself

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:06 (eight years ago) link

am I wrong in thinking the cavs rack up a lot of 24 second violations?

marcos, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:22 (eight years ago) link

looks like the cavs r trying to pace bron early to avoid the late game collapse

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:23 (eight years ago) link

theyve been slowing the game down purposely this series m/l leads to violations xp

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:25 (eight years ago) link

Heh

rip van wanko, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:25 (eight years ago) link

btw I am obv still rooting for the cavs but tonight I am trying to appreciate the finesse of the Warriors a little bit, especially curry but dude really needs to stop chewing on his mouthguard it is nagl

marcos, Wednesday, 17 June 2015 01:25 (eight years ago) link

love when breen is tickled by a play
