After I don't know how many tries, I beat the latest 4* node with my 2/3/2 140-something Fury, and my first Thing!

Probably going to be my last 4* node too as the next 4* on my roster that has more than 3 covers is my 3/1/1 Invisible Woman.

Got it first try with 5/1/4 Fury.

IW can last forever if you get the invisibility tile in the right spot.

Got it after 20ish tries w my 2-3-2 140ish fury, drew a xforce lol

2/4/2 L.135 Fury, couldn't quite nail it. Ran out of boosts, so I gave up.
Spent HP to shield for the Black Panther tourney. Made exactly rank 100. Yay! But then I realized I already maxed Scarlet Witch's blue power.. :/

I made zero (0) headway with Nick Fury because I hadn't given him any ISO; I'm strongly considering pumping up Elektra and Invisible Woman for their inevitable turns so they don't get rofflestomped (although IW without someone generating blue/green for her is going to get rofflestomped anyway unless I can drop a yellow)

yeah I've been leveling my 4 stars in prep for these for a couple of weeks, have thoress up to ~170 now, cap of 209; also getting another electra cover in daily rewards this week (today maybe?) and then she'll be at 2-3-1, possibly good enough for a lucky win in a legendary battle. I already have Invisible Woman at 167 and she's fully covered at 5-4-4 but I dunno, 270ing her is gonna take a long time & I've never been beaten by her in a battle.

you know you should try the Silver Surfer battle in the season whatever board asap; you're against 3 270 4 stars, Jean Gray, Hulkbuster, and Carnage, and you just squash them with your 455 3-5-5 Silver Surfer doing ~1700 per TILE match alone. maxed buffed 3 stars can take out regular 4 stars without a big fuss but the move to 5 stars isn't gonna be like that. there'll have to be something like a new game for 5 stars, with higher stakes than just more 3 star cover for their inevitable pvp wins.

me neither! I got off the red a couple of times but tile damage alone does the trick.

I've had Blade and Cap ready for 166 but these stupid 4* events are stealing my ISO.

I wanted to see how feasible that Legendary progression reward was for someone like me (answer, not really), though I think the Doc Ock prizes are depressing how hard players are going.

(And speaking of depression, that's why I've been playing this game so much lately!)

I opened up my Legendary tokens and got Prof X purple (yay! 2/1/3) and a Star-Lord (meh, 2/1/2).

Hey that was pretty fun, got the legendary token after only 4 tries, which included my first attempted with a level 70 Invisible Woman with no boosts.

ok, how on earth did you beat Quicksilver with a Lvl 70 IW? full boosts?

my son almost pulled it off but his IW is almost fully covered, just not leveled. invisibility was key.

problem is, even when you get that up, his blue passive explodey power can still hit you, and at 132 i can only take maybe two of those. not enough time to kill him

Hopefully you can get enough blue AP (obviously you need the blue ability) to make bubbles near QS's locked tiles, and -- the key here -- enough green to blow them up.

Preferably in the same turn, since reportedly your locked tiles count towards QS's explosions.

Got it, no boosts. like you guys said hoarded Blue and Green until i was able to blow both at once, otherwise prioritizing clear of the locked tiles

Beat it and got a Teen Jean for my trouble. A long slog, but not too difficult so long as you keep matching his special tiles.

just did my 10 pack for the season: four 3 stars (that I can't use, bleh), but two 4 stars that I can use! star lord (lol but for legendary battles, now 2-1-3) & electra (who is at least decent, now at 4-2-1).

Euler, how many Legendary Tokens did you open before getting SS?

lately it seems absolutely impossible for me to get any higher than top 100 in pvp, and even that is pretty tough. I used to get in the top 10 sometimes. :(

i suspect i'm doing well (top 50) in the current Simulator because a) nobody cares about She-Hulk or b) nobody bothered to level up their Doc Ock or Moonstone. or maybe i just lucked out and got into a crappy bracket. i haven't even been touching the top two nodes

All of the above, since I'm in 89th place after suboptimal clearing.

Yellow X-Force from my 10-pack, but little else of use. So many cover maxed (or nearly) 3*s now that I long a long list of characters waiting for iso. Fat Thor getting attention now, then either Doc Ock or Doom.

got needed covers for squirrel girl, scarlet witch, mystique and iron fist over the past two days; scrambling priorities.
i've been making sure that fewer cover 3 stars are constantly maxed and then eventually build up the whole army. it's not the smartest method but it gives me something to spreadsheet prioritize.
punisher, magneto, lazy thor cover/level maxed
Grey Black Widow, Spiderman, Doc Doom, Patch, Hulk, IM40, Loki, Psylocke, Daredevil all cover maxed and at level 141 or higher

for some reason, i STILL don't have a doc ock cover. Or Vision for that matter. Dunno what's up with that, think it's an algorithm intended to make me buy covers.

Level 140-ish does feel like the time when the 3*s become effective enough to tangle in PVP, with a 166 or two to lead the charge
