firstly a massive thanks to the people who attended and supported the first ngt in lutterworth , both me and pat realised we had our work cut out as the first ngt clashed with so many quality venues and with rugby alngtr just down the road which we attended after ours finished [ well done sian ]

the ngt kicked of with john mcclure playing an outstanding monster northern spot and keeping to the J20 ethics of originals only well done mate

following john was ralph from the soul nights in nuneton who changed the tempo to a cracking slice of 70s soul at its best

for my spot i started with x-over went into y2k and ended in the 70s

the main man was following me MR SEAN CHAPMAN if ever you needed a reason to go to a soul ngt sean would be it , he never fails to deliver an outstanding spot top bloke

already looking forward to his return to J20 next year

the ngt finished with pat setting the standard by pulling a brilliant spot out of the bag every thing right up to y2k with some unknown monsters mixed in , well done mate excellent spot

all in all a cracking first ngt we suffered with numbers but we knew we would , new night and loads on around us , we are going to stick to our policy and believe that quality and originality will get the crowds coming in and returning to us

future dates - APRIL 12TH , JUNE 14TH , AUGUST 9TH , OCTOBER 11TH , DECEMBER 6TH

TOP DEFINITION
Gareth
Gareth refers to a person with a large penis. Someone who knows how to satisfy a woman both in the bed and in life.
"Hey Debs, how was that date last night?"

"It was great, he made me cum several times and even made me a cuppa in the morning. I've never been so satisfied. He is so hung. That Gareth is a keeper"

"Wow, I gotta go get me a Gareth"

GAZ COOMBERS: MATADOR
Let’s hear it for the former front man of Supergrass, the Britpop band that should have but didn’t. His 2012 debut album, Here Come The Bombs, was little more than Supergrass-lite, but his follow-up easily rips up his past and just as effortlessly secures his future. Channeling his maturity, rather than his one time band’s cheeky-chappy personae, Coombes delivers songs that fuse psychedelic/folk balladry (Seven Walls, The Girl Who Fell To Earth), serene soul (To The Wire, Buffalo) and the kind of gently throbbing Krautrock (Detroit, The English Ruse, Needles Eye) that Kraftwerk would surely envy.
