fins d really playing well. game is one break for miami away from being awkward.

dolphins have basically had two really bad plays on defense unfortunately both of them ended up as touchdowns

i really hated that third down play call on the last dolphins drive. haven't been able to run all night plus tannehill is in a rhythm and going under center just totally telegraphed it.

NE not looking flamboyantly dominant on offense like most of 2007 but lowest scoring game so far had 4 TDs so even tho it looks kinda rough at times they are really scoring. defense seems to be improving through the season. outside a brady injury, maybe gronk, if the wheels come off it'll most likely be that depleted o-line. they finished the game with 5 standing so the realms of a TE at tackle or a guy starting off the street are certainly possible. would be lame for this season to end with brady getting beaten senseless every week behind some ragtag scrubs.

offense feels kinda unstoppable when dion lewis is in there -- he seems like the perfect patriots back. when it's legarrette running into the line and falling ahead for 4 yards it starts to feel a bit bogged down.

i'll be interested in seeing who can challenge the pats thru the air. still feel like there's not a lot of talent in the secondary and even the LBs i think can be tested. if 2015 regular season andy dalton can play like this in the playoffs i feel like aj green & eifert and those guys could really put some pressure on them.

yeah its weird they just keep scoring constantly w/o seeming quite dominant, like it felt like the dolphins p much held them in check in the first half but they still had 17 offensive points, theyve scored in every quarter this season except the first, they had a game where they scored on every drive

imo the lack of dominance is due to the offensive line sinking drives on a fairly regular basis. with lafell back and amendola having a really strong stretch of play this is as good a group of skill players as they've had since whenever gronk and hernandez were both healthy and available.

jordan makes a good point but it's funny, for a passing league i can think of exactly three passing attacks that give me any level of concern.

of all the teams in the AFC i feel like denver could maybe give the patriots the best game only because they have one of the best front four pass rushes and secondaries in the nfl, which i think is the defensive blueprint to slow the pats down on offense. but denver's offense is pretty bad yeah, though i think maybe as they abandon all kubiak things and shift back into peyton as offensive coordinator mode it might bump up slightly.

denver is incapable of winning a game w/o scoring on D they r bad

has a team ever had the best defense and the worst offense before its p funny

first thought was 2000 ravens, they were 1st in defense dvoa and 20th in offense dvoa apparently

but basically of the top ten worst nfl passes ive ever seen payton has made three of them this year he is beyond done

Luck is still really good and will be in the league another decade, clearly having a down year but he's the least of that team's problems

agrre luck is good but his career arc is looking much more like very good qb than alltime great, tho theres def still time for him to change that trajectory

the colts are a truly awful organization and the head needs to be cut off entirely. pagano is bad, irsay is bad, and grigson is worst of all.

regardless of this season luck is and has been great with nothing going on with the rest of the team at all. the prospects of that team getting to the level where they might win something is so remote right now.

the comparison to favre has been made before but he might be more favre than favre. 45 TD / 23 INT seasons are in this guy's future.
