So, KG has stopped giving invites? I was on there for 10 years+, kept a good ratio, there are movies I've worked on up there even, but lost my account as I guess I had a an older, second one I never used and didn't even think about. No help on IRC and I can't access the forum.

I have folders and folders of stuff I can share, some of which is from my time on KG and a lot of which is likely unseeded. Otherwise, any advice on how to get on there? I'm not on other private trackers and find the whole thing a little daunting. I basically just want to be on KG and work on having a good ratio there...

They had one of those forum-meltdown style "incidents" in 2015, and invitations have been disabled ever since. Mods are lazy/incompetent, so there's no news on if/when they're ever coming back, so as you might imagine the tracker is basically dying from a lack of fresh blood.

what are the details of that (vaguely)? it seems self defeating.

i did actually ask on behalf of adamrl about a year ago and didn't get any response.

It's unclear. If you ask about it they point to a dozen-page-long forum topic that's just a bunch of crosstalk. It seems like some people were selling invites, and/or it had something to do with the 2015 downtime and domain change

I've been looking to get back on KG for years. Was on there and made uploads but my DSL internet connection up in the country couldn't support it and I was banned for bad ratio.
