I am starting to become very, very fond of the Patch/Daredevil combo

Pulled a black IF yesterday so I've finally 166'ed him @ 4/5/4! GET READY FOR SOME IRON FISTING, MPQ.

My IF has been stuck at 3/5/4 for a while now.

I decided to cash in some taco tokens today. The d3go forumites say it's best to save up around 100 tokens but I only managed to get to 30 -- and I got the Jean Grey passive cover I wanted in 15 pulls.

Command point Legendary token pull: Star-lord red. can't win them all. I haven't won any of the 4* deadpool nodes in a while either -- they're now going through the 4*s that have been released in the last few months. as if anyone has sam cap or mr. fantastic maxed.

for those 4-star nodes, I have no hope of success unless it's XFW or IW, and mmmmmmmmmaybe Elektra and Devil Dino if I get lucky

I think that as late as two weeks ago, I had 80+ health packs, as of this last weekend I'm back down to 10.

I've basically just been keeping up with the Deadpool nodes so I can level characters with the free ISO. BTW 166ed CMags/Patch/Loki combo is almost as hilarious as 166ed IF/Cage/Falcon; trying to find the best 3rd to put with Patch/Daredevil (really want it to be Falcon but I think actually it should be IF?)

Unless they are boosted or I'm in the Deadpool simulator, I find virtually every other character useless (largely because I have not been able to build up any 4* besides XFW and IW, both of whom can be devastating in the right combo but don't have the right synergy with my other go-tos aside from CMags/XFW/Loki, and there I find it way more fun to use Trickery rather than Surgical Strike)

I liked the new Ghost Rider PvE. But I'm sure it'll be only be more punishing in the future when they rerun it. Was lucky that XFW was the featured character.
Little less than a week before I get 25CP as a daily reward...

I respecced OBW to 4/5/4 and I can't believe how much free damage in was sacrificing by not going deeper into Espionage. Pairing her with anyone who generates strike tiles (esp. Daken or AstWolvie) is terrifying.

i'm still like a year behind you guys but i've been having a lot of fun running more or less a two-man game with OBW/Wolverine and whoever. Once they get rolling, it's nuts.

Consensus build for OBW is 3/5/5, that way you get more Espionage double-dipping and, the real key, get a cheaper Aggressive Recon (true, it won't steal purple at 3, but if she's tanking purple, regular matches will be able to offset some of that).

i was gone like five weeks and there are six new characters and only ghost rider is not a redone character, nothing has changed

if there was a lazy OBW, she would become an instant staple in my roster

I must have finally muted the friend bonus notifications on facebook or they realized I wasn't playing and stopped sending them. All it really did was tell me when DJP or my cousin (who I haven't seen in a decade) was playing!

Any strats for "Look-Alike Contest"?

IF + Luke Cage is my go-to for survival nodes and it worked. Scarlet Witch was my third.

I just tried it and got iced by She-Hulk. I'm not sure why to run. I don't have IF or Scarlet Witch fully covered. I hate She-Hulk so much though. maybe I'll use Loki or Hood to drain AP, maybe Mystique for the stun+plus big damage with black (for the first Hulk), I don't know yet.

I used Fat Cap 166 (553), Hood 166 (553), Patch 166 (355) and just beat it (unexpectedly). I used the boost blue & purple thing up to +50% but I absolutely didn't need to.

Basically while fighting Hulk I got fairly lucky with matches, not SUPER lucky but enough that I was able to hit him with a blue stun before he could hit me with his green or red. Once I did I did my best to stockpile in order a) black, b) red, c) blue, and d) green. Hitting black meant getting intimidation and getting to loop the stun which was key; red and green let me do damage faster through Cap's shield and Patch's attack thing. Tried to avoid matching purple to get rid of enemy strike tiles (or are they attack tiles) generated by Patch, instead deleting them with Cap's red & blue. It looked a little rocky during Hulk but by the time I got to She-Hulk I think she only even got 3 attempts to hit me, and red hulk only got one attempt. Kept them locked the fuck down.

Not sure why I don't roll with this team more often (although mostly they really shine vs. one enemy)

Bring a stunner; I had LCap and Hood, if you have an IM40 at 5/5/2, then him so you can rush yellow and get a quick infusion of red/blue AP. I've read that Cap/Hood/OBW was a surprisingly good combo.

I cannot believe hwo good Cap and Hood work together, and I ahve had them both 166d for months. The "decay" of the shield attacks (getting back less gems than you spend) offset by dormammus aid, the extra turn that makes it so you can't stunlock is removed by intimidation... yikes they're good together.

I just got Awesome Hulk, but I might have to drop my 0/5 MBW so no more stun team-ups for you guys anymore.

I pulled a girl wolvie today. I think the game favors giving you 4 star covers you don't have yet, since I have 1 cover for a whole bunch of 4 stars and not so many with more than that. also I suppose that's a function of all the new 4 stars. still don't have antman lol or kingpin or new cyclops or new ghost rider. or 5 star wolvie or phoenix. kinda finding my way back into the game, just haven't had time.

I didn't realize how badly I would want Silver Surfer until I picked up the free black card from the daily rewards. Holy shit, his match damage is LUDICROUS
