I just champed Panther, forget what I got from him, but the days of having like 100K ISO for me are over.

This I did not expect, not with a 2/2/0 Elektra! Got another purple Red Hulk -- purple red, does that make him Magenta Hulk? -- to make him 0/0/3.

I love that the D in the screenshot is fading into the background, making it look like it says "OWNED"

Considering this match was a 106 vs. 270, OWNED is very appropriate! (The concentric circles in the middle of Blade's forehead make him look like Bullseye to me, which is even more apt.)

Got a L111 2/1/2 Elektra. Feel like I'm just on the cusp of a few lucky turns from beating it

Looking at the Quicksilver notes and not seeing what changed. did they just update the dmg?

black cost went from 11 to 9 (min 5), damage reduced
blue jackpot damage increased
green went from 10 to 8 (min 5), makes locked tiles instead of criticals, damage increased

using black when it's at 5 or 6 ap is super effective. he's a lot better.

You know what's incredibly frustrating? When you load up full boosts for one match and accidentally reuse that setup for the next match that you didn't need it for...

You're at a slight disadvantage from me I think because her black ability is actually more important than her red. Collect as much black sand purple as you can while managing the number of reds so that he doesn't create strike tiles till you're ready. If you have enough black above yes about to this once of his active abilities, Shadow Step the turn before to use his attack against him. And hopefully you have some purple banked so you can let him put out a strike tile and then steal it to increase the damage you do.

I always do that with three boosts, it's why I don't have any right now!

Leer OTM, you want to suck up purple to keep him from dropping his attack tiles and black so that you can give yourself respites from his damage that also hurt him, plus red to slow down his attack tiles and drop a Ballet of Death for extra damage. If you can steal a couple of his tile and stay behind Shadow Step, you're golden.

On the 3*s - yeah, I'm sitting on about 60K iso, not sure if I want to max more 3*s or pump them into my 4*s. I can send Lady Thor to 188, or should I max out the kinda OP Iron Fist or Scarlet Witch? Or other 3*s I just like, like Rocket & Groot.

Due to our mysterious benefactor I'm sitting on 167CP. I can blow 120 of it to get that final cover for my XFW, or wait a couple months for it to hopefully show in the Taco Vaults. Even then I'm not sure it'll be the right color. Plus I'm gonna need... 80k? iso to take him to 275...

Speaking of Taco vaults, I have tokens: 65/69. Indecision.

I ended up beating Blade after a few tries. Drew a useless IW (I have her cover maxed and will not level her further unless there's a buff).

Used cp for a legendary yesterday and drew Mr Fantastic.

Right now, since I'm in champion mode, I'm not bothering to hoard tokens to increase the chance of getting the rarer cards because I'm basically using my 2* roster as a resource farm (that occasionally returns CP and tokens) so very few, if any, of the covers I get feel wasted.

My current 3* strategy is to not worry about 166ing them until I get that first champion cover, at which point I grind ISO to level before the card expires. Currently working on Black Panther, next will be Mohawk Storm and Beast assuming the covers don't expire before I get to them. (also my kingdom for a Luke Cage cover)

ddq is 7500iso/day, right? or something? and pve is probably another ~2500 or so, so 10k a day is a reasonable assumption?

i'm trying to plan my next spends (probably getting spiderman, loki, and GSBW to 166 for champs, since my 4* game still sucks) and i wanna know how long it'll take me... hopefully i can make the ISO before their upcoming DDQ cards expire (yes, I am planning quite far in advance)

also really hoping i can get card 13 for blade and iron fist so i can move them up the priority list (blade's 4/5/3 or something, so I'll hit his 13th at the end of Feb at the latest... but fist's 5/2/5, gonna have to get lucky there) :(

I am stuck at 12 covers for both Blade and Kamala and it's driving me crazy because I would 166 either in a heartbeat (buffed KK is hilarious esp when paired with pretty much any character with cheap powers (contemplating the hilarity of a Switch/KK/Devil Dinosaur team re: eternal healing mixed in with bursts of FUCK YOU dmg)

aw man, my KK is at 2/3/4:L41 so it'll be a long time before i get to have those kinda lols :(
(yes, level 41... I gave every 3* a level so they'd be ahead of juggernaut in my list, because i am a weird jerk who isn't afraid of prime numbers)

Man, if we could combine our rosters into a single Voltron-like behemoth, we'd be set, because my KK, IF, Blade, etc. are all champed (and my SWitch is now 5/3/5, only waiting to 166 her once I have the spare 37K and the 14th cover) (my Luke Cage and She-Hulk are next in line, I have a Shulkie in queue now, and two Lukes coming this week, and both are 153s), but I just pulled a black XFW (who's currently at 5/4/4), so unless I get 308K in two weeks, I'll have to eat the cover somehow.

Trying to 166/champ Deadpool because he was the only useful cover I got in this season's 10-pack. I rarely run up against him in PVP and never use him myself so I'm curious to see if it's worth it.

Probably not, but it's really fun to shoot off his whale power. The red power that takes off 40% health at max level is surprisingly effective too

Especially if you've got some big strike tiles out -- cheap and damaging red spam!

also i jsut smoked galactus with Blade, Iron Fist, and Falcon... my first match i managed to hit two blue matches, got the bird rolling, and after that I aimed for yellows to beef up IF's punch tile and Blade's thirst tiles. By the like 5th round I was just trying to mitigate Galactus's hunger while doing ~1500 damage a turn passively. Felt good

My Blade/IF aren't even 166'd and none of the three of them were boosted by the event!

I had been doing Luke/IF/Falcon to reduce the incidental damage from Galactus and to drop occasional uppercuts on him to burn off the stockpile of yellow I was getting but yeah, Falcon + strike/attack tiles = lol @ Galactus

(also IF is boosted for the event IIRC)

also after today's DDQ the only 166 I have that's still unchampioned is Classic Spidey

oh that's right, if is boosted... but still!!!

I used GSBW/Hulk/Mohawk from the 5th or 6th round all the way to the end, and was undefeated (though over the course of that run Hulk soaked up a lot of health packs). Boosted Hulk tanks blue, black, TUs, reds, and, most importantly, green, so whenever Galactus does damage he angers Hulk, and after one or two Angers you'll be able to start a winfinite cycle of green, with GSBW's purple resupplying you as needed or pistoling stubborn countdowns or Cosmic Tiles.

BTW, I respecced GSBW to 3/5/5 (I wasn't going to use her Sniper Rifle for this, and having a third target for her red is a nice Get Out of Jail Free card) and Mohawk to 5/5/3 (even though funneling Galactus's countdowns to the top is nice with Storm's black, having too many attack tiles, even if friendly, starts to interfere with your ability to use GSBW's purple to make green matches).

I use Iron Fist, XFW, and either ScarWi or some red+blue user like Magneto. It doesn't always work.

I was rolling XFW, GSBW an SWitch and it's a feast or famine combo; you either end with everyone at like 90+% health or get totally obliterated because the board decided to be a dick

down with that, every time you got a 20 iso reward is a total slap in the face. don't want to play any mission more than seven times, if even that many!

hooray! a pve i hate. that means i can focus on getting the last ~750 in pvp to get a shiny new 10-pack of stuff that will be useless to me!

I like the Gauntlet because it's not competitive! the prizes suck this time though.

btw hooray alliance for getting the Hulkbuster! I balled way harder in that event than I ever had before; having a maxed -> buffed xforce helped since even at the end by the time I'd saved enough black a surgical strike downed Galactus every time

I got XFW, already championed, and a bunch of 3*s and 2* I also had championed.
I beat every gauntlet node. Hulkbuster is the only required 4*. I used Deadpool whales twice, on 36 and 41. One of the optional nodes has the dreaded Carnage/Ant-Man pairing.

Final nodes:
Blade/Thing/Mags (used whales)
GSBW/BP/Hood (took a few tries)
BP/Hulk/Devil Dino (high HP but not that hard)
Daken/Prof X/Miles (got it first try)
4* DP/Kamala/Ghost Rider (took several tries)

The only Gauntlet node I whaled was the Hulkbuster essential (mine is only 2/2/1), I was surprised how far I got with KK/R&G/Cyclops.

Beat the Ant-Man node today! First time around at this point (excluding DD vs. SG), I could reasonably compete in only 3 of 8 nodes, I've only missed one this time around.

Pulled another blue Iceman from the prize.

Nine tries with Ant-Man, all failed. Probably lost about 30 boosts. Sigh

I beat the Ant-Man DDQ on the third try with 5/0/4, underleveled. I got the strike and attack tiles out in good positions and just had to survive. My prize was a Red Hulk purple (0/1/1).

I sold Quicksilver and championed my last two fully-covered 3*s. I got Prof X purple (2/2/4) and Iceman blue (3/4/1), pretty good.

Balance of Power's always a gas, everyone at 555 is even more silly
