You can pretty much run anyone in Balance of Power and survive, as long as your colors are covered. That's what makes it great!

I keep getting smoked, can't even get above 100 points, in balance of power. I HATE that pvp.

just skip the matches with 4*s ;) you can even run Juggernaut in this PvP! I should try Classic Spidey, come to think of it...

it's ok, this pve is actually fun for once! 5 star iron man is a PAIN, his yellow is annoying. I haven't come close to losing to him yet, but he's draining health. it's been going better since I committed to Silver Surfer, Luke Cage, and Scarlett Witch, prioritizing yellow, then red and blue.

Re: Balance of Power, if you can respec KK to 5 yellow, you don't need to use health packs for a while, esp if you include a good battery like IM40

At level 450 his yellow match does 1800 damage.

BTW, Marvel, hulk, ghost rider, and stockpile black to cast penance stare as often as possible. And bring in doom and/ or fist team ups, with an Ares green for when Hulkdies.

FYI I've been getting a surprising number of defensive PVP wins in Cold War with Mystique and Beast.

I'm really appreciating the new passive ability UI tooltips that pop up. Every time Quicksilver locks a cell it says "Speeding up..." and every time Doom lays a trap it says "Plotting..."—you guys noticed any others?

what's the best black widow original build? i hit the cap at 5/5/3 and just got another grey cover.

also - worth trying to cap out her level? i've got her at lvl 70 and have enough iso to bring her up to 94 (the cap i think?) but not sure if i should be saving it bc that'll cost like 34k.

Wait, do you mean 3* or 2* Widow?

2* Widow's best build is generally considered to be 3/5/5. Definitely worth leveling her up *eventually* (to champion her), but you might want to hide her behind some other characters so that she doesn't take so much damage.
3* Widow = 5/3/5, and she is a beast so definitely level her up.

Yeah, 3/5/5 is preferred: purple at 3 is less expensive (even if you don't steal other colors anymore), and you can double dip for more damage at higher levels of black: http://marvelpuzzlequest.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Widow_%28Original%29

The only problem is that OBW has to control the tiles in order for Espionage to fire, so you're exposing her to more dmg if you are trying to leverage that ability.

I threw 8K of ISO at Nick Fury (4/2/2) to boost him to a level where I could manhandle CMags with boosts (+2 purple/black, +2 all, +100% dmg). Won handily on my third attempt, with the real difference maker being able to nail CMags with all of my abilities before he could fire Magnetized Projectiles or a second Polarizing Force. It was devastating enough that I am strongly considering leveling him more and using him as a primary character, although OTOH getting my 5* Phoenix to 315 remains very attractive.

I've managed to only play the DDQ for the past week. I hope to get it down to just leg(endary token from 4*DDQ) days.

any hot tips for fury v mags? managed to get him to 50% once with a bunch of boosts, 2/1/2 lvl 111 might not be good enough :( denying blue AND red proving hard.

I prioritized blue over red and planned to eat one CMags red in an attempt to get my blue and purple out ASAP. I happened to get a board that was mostly yellow, which helped immensely.

My Fury is 5/3/5 level 206 now (I'm going to champion him by tomorrow), so I can't offer much help because I beat this in two tries without boosts. Maybe load the whole thread and look for the first time Fury vs. Mags came around.

I do remember that historically firing Fury's yellow helped me a lot more than other people (e.g. putting up protect tiles). Maybe check this for under-leveled Fury: https://d3go.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=522279#p522279

3-2-2, level 140ish, with boosts got it second time

got reamed earlier by a l350 mr fantastic lol (had 271 lady Thor champed boosted iron fist and hood but lost hilariously fast

Beat C.Mags on my 5th try, woo. Key was having a good blue attk (mine's lvl 4), character at 157.

So I finally pulled an OML (red), but I'm ~350 HP / 2 Bullseye covers from rostering him.

champed colossus today, well into the "lol why am I champing this one" time. only 7 more 3 stars to champ, save Sentry who I had 166d & sold at the nerf (and will not get back, he's horrible now)(of course I'm gonna champ rags and spidey so the lol's on me)

this round of the pve has been brutal! I beat all the nodes once but the ones with big hood & doom are stupid deadly.

I have a 12/13 XFW that I finally decided to bite the bullet and put ISO into while I wait for more Jean Grey/Iceman covers to pop up

I would strongly consider selling half my roster for OML covers, though
