Bergevin has completely altered his team's chemistry just to appease a coach who will be fired in December. Subban will flourish in Nashville, and Montreal will regret this over the next decade, perhaps for good. I haven't been this upset with the club since Chelios was traded, coincidentally on this day 26 years ago.

I've been following hockey less and less the last couple of years, but this trade seems insane. PK was the most interesting player on this team and was incredibly popular. This team just got a lot more boring.

Guy Boucher wouldn't do with Bergevin, nor would Kirk's limited french work with the press and a subset of fans, what I'm aiming at is that this trade has not been done for hockey reasons and part of it is because of a toxic old-school culture the Habs as a franchise can't getting away from. For fuck's sakes, lots of analysts on TVA Sport and RDS are praising the trade.

As a canucks fan its refreshing to see that there at least two worse GMs working for Canadian teams.

My buddy and I were saying that this might be the best Team Canada we've seen in our lifetimes. They are just so unbelievably dominant out there. For some reason I still wanna cheer for team NA but gosh. Canada.

Price looked incredible, both of those goals were weird. In my mind he played shutout-worthy hockey.
