My buddy and I were saying that this might be the best Team Canada we've seen in our lifetimes. They are just so unbelievably dominant out there. For some reason I still wanna cheer for team NA but gosh. Canada.

Price looked incredible, both of those goals were weird. In my mind he played shutout-worthy hockey.

the people who run USA hockey are obsessed with canada and apparently think that finishing every check is the way to beat them

pretty close! i mean it's been 10 years since the sweden-finland olympic final, americans took canada to overtime in the 2010 final, but that's about it.

thought the europeans played great -- nothing flashy, but more that nick lidstrom 'always in the right position' way -- but they just didn't have the offensive talent (or the four lines of all-stars) to actually beat canada

by "they" i mean players from slovakia, slovenia, germany, switzerland, norway etc. since there's a good chance that this team NA/team Europe thing will be a one-off. sweden & finland i feel will always have a good chance.
