Amazing! It probably more likely that I heard it wrong than he sang "dince" then. Though it's still very possible.

At least I know what radio station he listens to. He was walking round for hours singing the jingle.

I think I might have to listen to Saga 106.6 (that's radio-for-old-gits, I assume) since you just don't get to hear Eye of the Tiger enough these days.

Oh, does he really singularise things so that it's just about *him*? That's brilliant!

Please tell me this is "How Will I Know" by Whitney with the genders reversed for his amusement. I love this guy, and I don't even know him. The idea of him singing Minnie Riperton is cracking me up as I type.

(I haven't read his whole list, I just keep selecting places on my scroll bar and skimming around where I land. It's more fun that way)

He was mostly just singing "There was a time" all day, but not quite annoyingly enough for me to keep listing it.

So he's obviously unaware that he's doing it. God knows how because it's so loud, but then everything he does is loud, one assumes because he likes to let everyone know he runs the place.

The 02/08/2005 one was particularly bizarre because we were talking about something we were working on in the lab, when he walks in, goes up to the big machine we have in the corner and exclaims "Niger!" then turns around and starts talking to us like nothing strange had happened. I found it very hard not to laugh out loud on that occasion. This was the time that the big news was the famine in Niger.

I think tourettes might be the explanation - he is prone to fits of swearing too.
