i haven't had a free roster spot in a while so i've been hoarding covers (special event covers i'll still open right away) - so i've got 80 deadpool covers now and a 10x heroic. feel like at some pt i should open the deadpools if for nothing else than trying to get the hero points i need for a roster spot. i'm at 375 and i need 750.

I didn't think I could beat DDQ Elektra with a low 120s X-23 but tried anyway just to see how difficult it would be.

I won on the third attempt.

I think I should stop assuming 120 is too low for a 4* character to be useful.

it took me around 10 tries with 3/0/3, level 140.

If the opponent is a lamestain or if you have stun/invisibility powers, then 100-120 is totally doable. Hell, my Nova and Miles both won their DDQs and they're 94 and 95!

We have an upcoming set of features called S.H.I.E.L.D. Rank and S.H.I.E.L.D. Clearance Level. The first part called S.H.I.E.L.D. Rank, will be released in our next R108 update (scheduled for Monday, August 29).

This first version will give players Iso-8 rewards and access to different features. Players will gain XP from everyday actions like buying packs, and improving their roster by recruiting, leveling and championing characters. All existing players will be grandfathered in starting at the very least at level 5 which grants access to all the in-game features (Versus mode, Alliances, etc). Maximum players will be grandfathered into level 65 and gain all the rewards they would have gained the day they log into R108!

I sold my level-144 ** Storm and my level-144 ** BW for sweet sweet iso and leveled up a bunch of dudes.

I sold a 4* XFW I could have used to champ had I known I was gonna get an assload of ISO. I just contacted them and asked if they'd put it back in my inventory. Fingers crossed...

xp yeah they made it more expensive to level 3*s a while ago, I think when championing was introduced.

i meant with this update but i realized my lol xls is only to the level "they" thought was reasonable not to 166... they've changed that to 166 in anticipation of a lot of updated character stats.

i used my magic pixie points to champ rocket and groot, squirrel girl and deadpool and max level to cover my Sam Cap, Star Lord, Nick Fury and Elektra... they're all at 6 to 8 covers and basically usable now. So I have a four star team finally and scored a Black Bolt off a legendary token. 99 slots!

I got my 6th green Phoenix cover, thinking about complaining to CS to see if I can get it changed to purple (she's 5/0/4 right now).

what method did you use to contact cs, btw? i used the little conversation button in-app but i have no idea if that's cs or even gets read.

Will, I haven't done it yet but probably going to do that in-game thing. It worked for me when the board reshuffle algorithm was bugged, and they gave me like 9 extra health packs.

So happy with all the iso - pumped my Nick Fury to 209 and Lady Thor to 250.
Sad feeling though when I realized I don't have enough to max all my 3*s (generally ~100K each). The 4*/5* iso costs are high enough to make me think carefully again

I was level 50, got 484,000... currently planning on getting XFW up to 270+ (pending d3 giving me back my 14th cover)... the rest of it I haven't spent yet (or rather spent in my mind), but I just got a Hulkbuster Red from a heroic token (!), putting him at 2/4/3... I might bump him to max level, as well as Xforce Deadpool (currently at 5/1/3, his red is deeeeadly)

this will mean i will technically have a viable 4* roster!!!

I maxed She Hulk and Gamora. Not as exciting.

I maxed and champed X-23 and 4* Jean yesterday, and instead of maxing 4* Thor with my remaining ~400K ISO, I'm leaning towards champing three 3*s (Spidey, Colossus, and Doc Ock) because I have those covers in queue.

I just leveled after grinding a few prelude modes to the red check when you get all the rewards. Got 10 xp for each. Against 3 level 1s.

I took X23 to 250 (3-5-4), Carnage to 213 (4-1-5), Deadpool XF and Hulkbuster to 188 (their maxes), Quake and Kingpin up a bunch, Miles too, now pumping Iso into Fury (cap 229).

Carnage is buffed to 302 in PVP and it's hilarious, running with Loki / 4 Jean (250, 5-4-3)

Still have a lot of ***s to champion ... Beast, Captain Marvel, Colossus, Doom, Torch, Iron Man, Rags, Squirrel, Storm, Punisher, Bullseye, Doc Oc, Quicksilver, Sentry, Vision. Definitely ready for this part to be over lol
