champed ares, daken, beast; nine covers for elektra XFW and Star Lord; champing my second 2 star wolverine for the iso; 1 cover apiece left for vision and doc ock and i have all my 3 stars ready to champ.
Working quicksilver now; finding the current pve easy to run and profitable... but OHHHH that slowdown

I champed 4* Thor last night!

4* Thor should be even better after the Silver Surfer and Cho Hulk buffs.

and about Surfer, since mine's l345 1-3-2. which has kinda fucked up my mmr evidently. was hoping clearance levels would fix that so I don't get anymore bullshit OMLs but alas not yet.

also - i've got 2 free spots (i opened all my deadpool covers and did pretty well on hero points). which of the following should i roster?

1x green beast *** cover
7x moonstone ** covers
2x colossus *** covers
3x sentry *** covers
2x ragnarak *** covers

i know these are all mostly undesirable but probably makes more sense to roster covers now and delete them later when something better comes along (i already rostered ms marvel ** since i had 11 covers for her lying around). i'm leaning towards rostering moonstone just bc i have so many covers for her and i can probably champ her soon for hulk covers. i'm about to get some colossus covers from divine champions... iirc some ppl do like him?

Moonstone becomes scary when boosted; her red starts hitting for insane amounts of damage on boards with a lot of red on them (also, as a 2*, you will get her covers faster than any of the 3s, none of whom are really essential)

Of the 3*s, go Beast. He's much, much more useful than the others listed.

Pros and cons with Moonie: like Dan sez, she does scary damage at high levels, and she's very tanky (HUGE health pool), and if you like 3* Hulk, she'll spit out his covers. However, she's probably going to be locked out of a lot of PVE nodes because you're often fighting her as an opponent.

xp Mordy between-screens animation crawl-times still happening. seems to be server-side as it's wildly inconsistent. they said they's fix it in the next patch

i just did the two who i couldn't get to 13 covers for the longest time... luke cage and cyclops :D now i've only got guys i don't care that much about left to 3* (and i'm actually getting enough 4* covers to level dudes up)

the transition to a 4* roster, she is finally happening!

the 4 star transition is fun! particularly when you have a buffed one that week. I'm looking forward to the clearance levels being added to pvp so that I can hit the progression reward more regularly (no hope of placement anymore but whatever)

oh no! i capped out my OBW. do i sell her and start collecting again from scratch?

if you have roster space, build up another one and sell when it makes sense. Otherwise, just sell them as you get them? OBW is kinda useful for the long game even so I wouldn't want to go back to a low-level version. I have two 2star wolverines going now, one max champed and one that I'm about to champ and then use for the rewards and to sell when I max him out.

i just sold my obw and am recollecting! just make sure you're comfortable enough with the rest of your 2* roster i guess, i am actually kinda struggling in the 2* nodes in DDP! (which honestly is a lil fun)

When I recycled my 2*s, I recycled them into the characters I hadn't played all that much, which led me to discovered that champed Moonstone and champed Bullseye can still stomp all over DDQ, they just aren't as "instant win" as CMags/ModHawk/CStorm.

Too late! I'm just farming ISO rewards from 2*s now, and I have enough HP to waste on Baggy.

BTW, looks like the PVP season is shortened, with the progression rewards lowered accordingly.

drew the last X-23 cover I needed from a heroic today! I'd been hoarding ISO hoping for this (my 4 Jean is also at 250 waiting for the last cover) so I could instantly max + champ her. respec'ed to 5-3-5, wow are her green and purple strong! & she's buffed right now!

alas the 4 prize for pvp in the fist tourney is a yellow kingpin which I already have at 5. my Ladythor is already maxed so I'm running through the pvp with her + Model 40, at 800 already with minimal effort/losses.

I've been taking Jane Thor with X-23, who is also boosted, but that's definitely slower than busting out the old Mr. Battery.

How do ppl like 3* black widow?

Match 5s come with the green generation, too.

5/3/5 she is a monster imo. I run her with 3* Thor and a tank, or Hulk for the green lulz

heads up: for sticks & stones i picked a lower clearance level because i wanted the moonstone covers anyway and thought it would be much easier competition - but all the players i'm getting matched up w/ have maxed 3 *'s anyway, so it turned out not to really be worth it

@DJP i'm working on it. switch is 4/3/4 and only 1 ProfX cover so it'll be a while

next up on my champ-the-threes tour is either vision or rocketgroot. leaning vision due to the cyclops 4* rewards (more interested in that than starlord).

then it's colossus, then sentry/rags (for rulk/x23), then gamora/octopus, then bullseye (since he's 4 covers it'll be a while)

i might almost finish this in 2016! unless i put that iso into 4 stars at this point which is looking increasingly likely actually

3 stars are too valuable when their turn comes up in pve required tho, i can't delete any of them anymore :/ (plus i now have a bunch of chump 2*s rostered that i'm more than happy to delete if i get hit with a sudden new 4*/5*)

I find the 2*s to be more reliable ISO generators at the moment, mostly because I can't guarantee my placement in anything to get a steady stream of 3* covers to feed my deeply championed roster due to constraints on my playing time.
