Dude, that Chuck post is even funnier because that's exactly how every conversation is with him, even the shouting part. He's easily the greatest person to have a conversation with.

Watch out Ally! Three hstencil-funny-posts in a week!

hstencil, Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:00 (twenty-one years ago) link

Wow, you really are an insufferably attention-starved individual lately. Unfortunately by replying to you I'm just encouraging this, but monitoring this thread for mentions of yourself is funny in its own way actually.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:31 (twenty-one years ago) link

Ally in not getting it shockah!

hstencil, Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:41 (twenty-one years ago) link

oi. get a room you two.

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:44 (twenty-one years ago) link

(in the iraqi rising thread or something like that, I'm still laughing)

The U.S. will probably fly in Bruce Springsteen for an impromptu concert on a tank. "Come on and rise up...." Its all part of psych ops.
-- Chris V. (formerlypoopsmcge...), March 25th, 2003.

(hstencil in being weirdly obsessive shockah)

(mark I'm saving the room for you)

I now listen to a lot of jukebox music since my girlfriend has driven me to drink in benders.

Ech! I just realized how pervy that made me seem! Obviously I meant "is she hot these days", and I didn't really mean it it was just a wise crack! yeesh.

I resent being told how much we do or don't like music, I think it's obvious lots of people here really do love music, from the type of personal questions continuously asked as well as from the fact that people actually want to write about it for a living. It's a shitty job the same way it's a shitty hobby, I can't speak for anyone else but I'd much rather if I enjoyed watersports or jogging or accountancy because life would be far easier.

From the "Hell Freezes Over" thread:

And, you know... after much deliberation last night I've decided that the US and Britain have every right to bomb Iraq. Because they're EVIL, and we're GOOD! YAY CAPITALISM! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
-- Ed (runmd...), March 26th, 2003. (later)

My god... I'm listening to that new 50 Cent album and it is, quite simple, DA MUTHERFUCKING BOMB! Word up! Bling!

Someone has a strange concept of "honoring the fire":

Cripes! When did this thread sprout up out of the ether? Last night? Sorry, I was out seeing "Bend it Like Beckham" with the wife and having a mightily expensive pizzette at some ridiculously overpriced bistro/meat-market.
