love 'Jump In The Pool' but hoping he's slowed it down a bit while empthasising the euphoric chord patterns and the lush synth voices more. it's a v obvious choice of track for him to do his typical thing tho.

Haha it sounds almost exactly like that, lush and warm and euphoric and slowbuilding. He does something very nice with carnival drums at the end, looping them throughout. It's a really good track.

Thanks to James for pointing out its existence, I didn't know about it.

He keeps all the best bits of the song in and kind of puts them in different places, the enormous swell with the "keep breathing, keep searching, keep holding on" bit and the big drum smashes is all present and correct but just made bigger.

JLC produced Frankmusik? I had no idea.

my favourite jlc remix is of britney's "breathe on me"! so good. (was also gonna rep for his mix of new order's jetstream but then realized the one i was thinking of was by richard x. whoops.)

I think he produced Frankmusik's entire last EP, but I'm certain he at least produced "3 Little Words".

Have to say that the Frankmusik album is just glorious (a couple of duds) and sounds almost entirely like a new LRD album.

His Sneaky Sound System remix is glorious.

paper faces remix of fdh isn't up to much

the first two tracks off the FM album sound like LRD, the rest gets weaker as it goes on which is a shame. I wonder what happened between the EPs and the album?

This isn't the first place I've seen that claim, and maybe it's just a Britisher-centric observation, but New Edition and New Kids on the Block both came before them and were pretty successful the world over iirc.

mm. well in fact original manager NM Smith based TT on NKOTB in the first place. the original advert for band members actually said 'dancers wanted for Britain's answer to New Kids..' or words to that effect.
