o sure lol

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 14:14 (six years ago) link

he has such passion for the role he chose to lose the nba finals in order to play it

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 14:17 (six years ago) link

:D

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 14:27 (six years ago) link

btw dray has been absolutely on fire these playoffs if this continues they wont lose a game

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:30 (six years ago) link

One would say he's ... better than al horford

Spottie, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:36 (six years ago) link

a draymond green who makes instead of misses his shots is better than al horford yes

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:37 (six years ago) link

however... lol

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:38 (six years ago) link

dray would be better than horford even if he shot 40% from the field

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:39 (six years ago) link

which he p much did this year

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:39 (six years ago) link

you cld test that theory out by putting him on any other team, cld prob get him down to 38% on the magic

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:41 (six years ago) link

al horford u cld put on any team and he wld be very good at all the basketball things

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:43 (six years ago) link

what wld drays numbers look like on the magic 14 pts a game on 37% shooting 7reb 4ast couple steals n blocks

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:47 (six years ago) link

one basketball thing he appears to be good at is being a secondary/tertiary player on a team that loses early in the playoffs

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:48 (six years ago) link

xp

u love box score stats so much you should marry them

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:49 (six years ago) link

some good points kevin lol

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 15:55 (six years ago) link

lol i mean we always go in circles, you in general luv box score stats and disregard defense for anyone under 7 feet tall. we both know how the debate will go

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:01 (six years ago) link

a funny thing is that if kobe didn't play on the lakers you'd love him

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:02 (six years ago) link

sorry saying you should like kobe is too far

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:07 (six years ago) link

dray is maybe the best defender in the league thats very valuable, he prob wldnt even be in the nba if he was an average defender, but his offensive shortcomings get overlooked cause if his team, also his playmaking abilities are way overrated because under normal basketball conditions its hard to make good plays when youre no threat to score, in the open court he is legit good tho obvs that is heightened cause of the team, in conclusion if he played on a normal team he wld still have a lot of value cause of his D but tyey wld feel the effects of his laxk of O

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:18 (six years ago) link

im making this sound academic tho —if he wasnt on the warriors— i mean also a big part of how the cavs won the finals last year was just not guarding him

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:26 (six years ago) link

also he craves attention in a way thats embarrassing to watch

lag∞n, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:28 (six years ago) link

dray's turnovers definitely cap him at merely a "solid" offensive player whereas he could be "very good" if he cut them down

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:41 (six years ago) link

btw when he was drafted defense was a big question mark, so i def think he would be an NBA player just not a very good one

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:42 (six years ago) link

it would be interesting to think of an alternate reality where dray plays on a different team and is an average defender, i think he would still have a cult following because of his passing

k3vin k., Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:43 (six years ago) link

yeah this

Nhex, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 16:45 (six years ago) link

i would say the biggest part was harrison barnes going 4-142

Spottie, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 17:31 (six years ago) link

Dray's 18th in the league this year in assist to turnover ratio and league leader in steals/game so I dunno, I guess he could cut down on TOs but it doesn't feel like that's his albatross. The nutcracking, though....

Fetchboy, Tuesday, 9 May 2017 18:36 (six years ago) link

huh whats weird is by bkref he turns the ball over 20% of the time, which is ghastly, but by ESPN it's at 12.6. i think espn counts assists as possessions whereas bkref doesn't
