get the feeling they're saving some material for the finale with Melissa McCarthy next week. How have ratings been now that they're going live in the West Coast? I went back and read an article from last year about this show needed a save and soon; it does seem like Baldwin and Trump honestly saved this show this year. Ensemble cast is good but McKinnon aside they still don't seem to have a single break out star; but maybe that's for the best.

white castle sketch was the best one in the show and the first shocking thing it feels like SNL has done in years and years

the farting sketch was funny. farting is always funny, I don't know why. I think th efact that half the sounds were more like animals than farts made it work.

the jurassic park ride sketch wasn't funny at all but it had an adorable baby pig

Hallelujah cold open was horrible the first time, unimaginably worse the second. Such a waste. I almost always like Weekend Update, but this one felt really weak, low on jokes.
