Flynn hasn't crossed Trump, Sessions has. Don't overcomplicate things, all Trump cares about is personal supplication.

In Trump's braindead logic I think he felt he was forced to fire Flynn by people who gave him bad advice. He's repeatedly mentioned that he regrets doing it and wishes he could have Flynn back. In the end I think Flynn is a straight dumbass Trump could bond with on the campaign trail because they're equals. Flynn would probably also run through a brick wall for Trump, again because he is a total moron.

Trump knows Flynn has damaging information to share, his loyalty is simply a bid for Flynn to keep it under wraps.

McConnell is just trying to tire everyone out, isn't he? But this whole thing of somehow getting deeply unpopular politics through without anyone having to vote for deeply unpopular politics. The House sends a bad bill to the Senate, and the Senate will fix it. Then Senate sends nothing back, and Committee will fix it. Then Committee...

Like, it's mutually assured destruction with people who should be on the same side. As if France and Italy began a really complicated system of nuclear escalation with lots of moving parts and complicated systems. Just in case. Instead of... not.

the skinny repeal ideas are also so stupid by themselves - removing the mandates just depletes the pools of insured and removes a funding source. It doesn't remove Obamacare, it just makes it work even more poorly. Which the GOP will be blamed for (one hopes).

And then the Dems can get back into office and pass single payer.
