Too late! He dropped a completely non-sequitur movie camera emoji into a tweet yesterday.

http://www.watcherofthedawn.com/2017/07/09/golden-dawn-leader-griffin-donald-trump/

The chiefs of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, outer order of the Rosicrucian Academy of Alpha et Omega say they lost their dog, their car and nearly their lives after working magic to protect US President Donald Trump.
Imperator David Griffin and his wife Leslie McQuade were furious at those who have been working magic to hex Trump. Writing in his blog, Griffin said:

“The issue here is not whether or not you agree with the politics and policies of Donald Trump. The real question is whether or not a gaggle of Communist leaning magicians and witches should be permitted to topple a duly elected President of the United States or bind and curse the American people who voted for him.”

Amazing. RIP Redd Dogg you just weren't magical enough to defeat Communism.

Yes of course

BREAKING (CNN): Sources close to Trump say that he is "done with" his Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, but hasn't decided whether to fire him

— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 19:59 (six years ago) link

guy famous for "you're fired" hates firing people

Supercreditor (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 27 July 2017 19:59 (six years ago) link

this is going to end with a primetime special with sessions and reince on stage, and trump deciding which of them (or both? or NEITHER?) will be fired, isn't it

Karl Malone, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:01 (six years ago) link

Meantime, the Senate, everyone

I'm undoubtedly missing something, but I don't really get Senate GOP should want a conference if it can't pass anything itself

— Nate Cohn (@Nate_Cohn) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:01 (six years ago) link

I've said this before - it's not that he hates firing people (he loves it!), it's that he *can't* fire any of the people in his cabinet without endangering himself. They all have dirt on him now.

Οὖτις, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:01 (six years ago) link

It's sad, he was a guy

"It's kind of hurtful," Sessions tells Fox of Trump's criticisms. But he wants to keep serving the president & they agree on many issues.

— Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:02 (six years ago) link

the "get a bill to conference" thing is obvious, and Senate GOP leadership (Cornyn, I think?) has clearly said that that's the goal because once something's gone through conference they're hoping that will apply even more pressure to wavering "no" votes. Plus it buys them time.

Lindsey Graham says he'll work with Freedom Caucus to make sure skinny repeal doesn't pass wout conference. We're in the strangest timeline.

— Haley Byrd (@byrdinator) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:21 (six years ago) link

I mean the thing is that increasingly it looks like the House could just call the Senate's bluff and vote on it and go on vacation.

Ok so here’s a quick thread recapping where the health debate is at now, which is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

and we all know how well Ryan is at corralling their votes...

Confidence!

Perdue on #SkinnyRepeal "The only possibly problem would be would the House take it up and actually have a vote on it."

— Lisa Mascaro (@LisaMascaro) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 20:26 (six years ago) link

It's getting fun!

Rep. Carlos Curbelo says he would support skinny repeal, and that he would prefer no conference before the House passes it.

— Haley Byrd (@byrdinator) July 27, 2017

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 27 July 2017 21:00 (six years ago) link

Argument I saw just now

Pretty dumb of House GOP to say publicly “we’ll pass skinny repeal!” when Senate moderates are leery of House rubber-stamping it

— Allahpundit (@allahpundit) July 27, 2017

Have you considered they might want this to stay in the Senate's hands?

— Benjy Sarlin (@BenjySarlin) July 27, 2017

Yes, this makes sense. The House GOP also doesn’t want anything to pass. https://t.co/uqkQV3LmSb

mookieproof, Thursday, 27 July 2017 21:11 (six years ago) link

“They’ll all be fired by me,” he said. “I fired one guy the other day. I have three to four people I’ll fire tomorrow. I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.” The issue, he said, was that he believed Priebus had been worried about the dinner because he hadn’t been invited. “Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” Scaramucci said. He channelled Priebus as he spoke: “ ‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the fucking thing and see if I can cock-block these people the way I cock-blocked Scaramucci for six months.’ ” (Priebus did not respond to a request for comment.)
