oh, I do have to admit I found this odd -- like in the first one they both dressed and sounded pretty 1992, but then in this one they're still dressed all '92 but the sound is all modern, etc.

(this does not really affect my perception of whether it's funny, or anything)

this was so lazy and most repelling skits ive seen in a while - as i said, just replace with video of timberlake masturbating onto his grammys

Jeopardy sketch reminded me that Tom Hanks once used to be a comedian, which is easy to forget (honestly, I haven't thought of him that way in a long, long time). Also, bonus Norm-as-Burt appearance!

i remember thinking he was really funny when i was a kid (i can vaguely remember bosom buddies). i dug his steez in that penny marshall women's baseball movie, and to a lesser extent in that thing you do.

The "best of Tom Hanks" SNL episode they aired many years back surprised me in how awesome/funny it was.

I don't think many people know this Billy Joel song they are singing, but it's pretty nice/communal as a season ending sketch.

hammond's leaving? i'll miss him, but it's beyond time for dude to do something else.

i saw him live years and years ago, doing stand-up. hilarious, leaned-heavily on various impressions, was drunk outta his mind.

they kinda need to run the TNT/corner promo thing into the ground, that trend is obnoxious and deserves to be ridiculed as much as possible.

So far, Seth Meyers is the only confirmed returning cast member. Yeah, it's still plenty early, but it will be interesting to see who makes it back in the fall.

The majority of this cast is fine by me, but the writing is terrible almost all the time (Will Ferrell's ep and selected sketches throughout the season notwithstanding).
