idk things unraveled pretty quickly in the third for pomeranz + price isn't used to warming up multiple times, so better be sure?

oh, i don't think there's really a good answer when your starter only goes 2+

for the other stuff, starting marrero with the team desperate for power seemed iffy despite keuchel's lefty mastery and pinch hitting with moreland against devenski, who has killer reverse splits, was odd (although moreland did have a couple hits off him in the past)

but pretty much everything went wrong except price and some fortunate innings where the astros left the bases loaded

That single improves Carlos Beltran's average in the postseason with the Astros to .447 (21-for-47).

Great game, I really thought that Boston had swung the series when Verlander gave up the HR and Sale continued dealing. God only knows who would have been the game five starters after that.
