Yah I’ve got the blue golden state version of that one, the 74-75 Rick Barry one.

But this one is the one that it’s based on

lag∞n, Friday, 20 October 2017 20:04 (six years ago) link

agree but appreesh that they kept it true (unlike last year's TRAVESTY run tmc era throwbacks)

the gold might be cool if they had brought it in somewhere else, like maybe the star

some observations re the new unis, i really like that nike is providing teams w color coordinated compression gear all that black/white stuff of years past clashed, also the uniform colors look crazy saturated maybe its the material or something idk but the celtics are practically glowing on tv i think i like it, the new rules allowing color on color matchups tho im not so sure its a bit much tonights philly celtics blue v green was a lot

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 October 2017 02:11 (six years ago) link

Yah that’s nice.

I’ve noticed the color thing as well. Lakers unis last night looked too yellow. The court paint had a touch more orange to it. I decided I like the back arm holes too btw, allows the names to fit a little more comfortably in their space.

A few other teams made that switch and it's a good look.

“Nike has always put the athlete at the center of everything we do and we have worked hard to create the most advanced uniforms in the history of the NBA,” a statement from the company to ESPN.com said. “They are lighter and deliver great mobility and sweat wicking characteristics, and the feedback from players has been overwhelmingly positive. However, during game play we have seen a small number of athletes experience significant jersey tears. We are very concerned to see any game day tear and are working to implement a solution that involves standardizing the embellishment process and enhancing the seam strength of game day jerseys. The quality and performance of our products are of utmost importance and we are working with the NBA and teams to avoid this happening in the future.”

Spottie, Tuesday, 7 November 2017 22:12 (six years ago) link

"standardizing the embellishment process" you mean like by claiming these are "the most advanced uniforms in the history of the nba?"

marcos, Tuesday, 7 November 2017 22:19 (six years ago) link

they shd develop a jersey that if it rips theres another one underneath, now that wld be advanced!
