Oldman as Churchill - There is a movie I'd pay not to watch, although I'm sure it will be a big hit with The Football Lads Alliance type crowds. Sometimes I think in post-brexit times every UK movie is just going to be a Dunkirk remake for the next decade.

i see plenty of stuff with my current resources.

imax / 3d is a no; same for most "in advance" booking so no it's not perfect.
i've seen a total of one 3-d imax film (gravity) and i'm okay never doing either ever again

I liked CMBYN a lot and have my criticisms but every one of those comments reeks of smugness. No sex? No Italian vistas? Did they even watch the movie?

Ingrid Goes West over Columbus for best first feature is some bullshit. (Not as much as magically promoting Get Out beyond the category, of course.)

I really want to see Columbus (won the Filmspotting podcast's "golden brick" of the year – are any of you listeners?) but can find zero sign of it getting a UK release in cinemas following its LFF appearance.

I guess it'll turn up on Mubi or whatever some time.
