Hill has fallen off a cliff this year. Z bo and Vince shoulda been ring chasing. Hield hasn’t really played well.

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:05 (six years ago) link

i don't think zbo suddenly became toxic or anything, but he shouldn't be starting and should have a defined off the bench role.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:09 (six years ago) link

imo, Hield is headed for a 'second guy off the bench' sort of career.

zbo is cooked rip

Jokic did some things tonight. G Harris has 6 steals.

lag∞n, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:24 (six years ago) link

good win for the 76ers. beat the jazz on the road w no embiid. Saric finally had a good game.

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:24 (six years ago) link

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:25 (six years ago) link

Clay, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:29 (six years ago) link

they def have some guys doin some stuff

lag∞n, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:30 (six years ago) link

reddick was a really smart signing. theyre always gonna need snipers like him around to keep the lanes open for simmons to work

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:37 (six years ago) link

ben simmons is dazzling

brimstead, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:38 (six years ago) link

xp yeah the reddick signing was something, even though obv the sixers aren't where the warriors were at the time, it kinda reminds me of the igoudala signing in the sense that they both kinda "chose" these teams that were emerging from poopage

brimstead, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:46 (six years ago) link

like, it's a sign that the sixers are 'beyond' "the process" if they can sign guys like jj reddick

brimstead, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:46 (six years ago) link

yeah and only a one year deal so super low risk. doesnt screw them over longterm

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:57 (six years ago) link

the OKC offense looks like pickup ball

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:57 (six years ago) link

melo is such a bad fit for them

Clay, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 04:59 (six years ago) link

put melo on memphis or something

Clay, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:00 (six years ago) link

melo is a bad fit for everyone

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:00 (six years ago) link

there's some places i think he'd work out pr well but not at the albatross pricetag

Clay, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:01 (six years ago) link

exactly

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:06 (six years ago) link

the Jokics!

Just found out why @JokicNikola15 had a career night-family! Dad and mom in from Serbia 🇷🇸 brothers, and girlfriend 😎 no wonder he got 41 👋 pic.twitter.com/UzJPWVq4Wu

lol this game is ugggly

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:16 (six years ago) link

This was the case last year and I guess every year with Westbrook but it is amazing how many times per game the Thunder do something that is just unacceptably bad from a percentage standpoint. Things you wouldn’t see any other team do.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:30 (six years ago) link

I saw Westbrook dribble down and take a pull-up three with 4 opponents back on defense and no teammates. What can you say to that?

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:32 (six years ago) link

its embarrassing

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:37 (six years ago) link

that whiteside game last night was something

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 05:57 (six years ago) link

Blazers lost I believe their fourth one possession game of the season

Clay, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 06:10 (six years ago) link

I don’t like Hassan whiteside and I’m sure he brings this on himself but I can’t shake the idea that the Heat are micromanaging him and making him crazier

He doesn't even seem to know what he's doing in a programmatic sense on defense but he's smartly just zipping around and keeping his hands way up which just creates chaos

He's kind of an offensive savant too. Was fully prepared for him to be a bustorama but he's a treat

Fully prepared for him and Tatum to be the best small forwards in the east at least within a couple years

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 8 November 2017 13:41 (six years ago) link

right, perhaps i thought the mix of intriguing youth and steadying veterans would lead to a respectable but not great team. in actuality each of these players individually kind of sucks.

Yeah I hated all of their moves, they needed like two vets to shore up the young guys while they look for a couple of career prime guys and instead they bought like almost a whole 35-win team worth of virtually washed up dudes and slathered it on top of some iffy young talent

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 8 November 2017 13:43 (six years ago) link

Felt very Vivek-y and I could totally believe he went after melo to "contend now"

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 8 November 2017 13:44 (six years ago) link

“Jokic says that he still talks to Jameer and Mike Miller almost every day. He says he’s also really close to Wilson but Wilson doesn’t talk.”

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 21:31 (six years ago) link

Ricky Rubio is taking 5 threes per game for some reason

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 21:57 (six years ago) link

al horford is out w a concussion, missed bunch of games w one last year

lag∞n, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 22:32 (six years ago) link

i forgot about caldwell-pope being a celtics killer

ciderpress, Thursday, 9 November 2017 02:47 (six years ago) link

randle and ingram have been the best lakers tonight

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 November 2017 02:50 (six years ago) link

C's look tired leaving all those shots short

I'm not sure Marcus smart gets tired though

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:09 (six years ago) link

Lakers collected some funny randos this year, Corey brewer

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:10 (six years ago) link

ingram is fun to watch

brimstead, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:22 (six years ago) link

survival mode for the celtics without horford and tatum. i want to find aron baynes and buy him a beer. he played huge on both ends.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:24 (six years ago) link

lonzo 4-15, i get how he got to that many attempts but minutes go by where he doesn't really do anything.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:26 (six years ago) link

the good team "boston celtics" has won 10 games in a row

ciderpress, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:27 (six years ago) link

lonzo continues his mastery of the triple-single

ciderpress, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:28 (six years ago) link

per doris kyrie's dad wouldn't do an interview b/c he wants to stay in the background--respect to that guy.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:29 (six years ago) link

btw can experienced cavs watchers help me with something--did kyrie play much 2-man game with a big guy in cleveland? he seems born to do it. he was wrecking shit playing with horford and tonight he basically went to baynes and was like "you're the guy" and baynes got a career high.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 November 2017 03:33 (six years ago) link

kyrie never really had a reliable big guy to do that with in the cleve, no? love is a shitty screen guy and prefers to pop rather than roll which isn't helpful for the spacing kyrie needs to do his thing
