watching bron try to playoffs a whole season is fun

an observation abt good defensive teams in todays damn nba switching isnt really the thing that its important to be good at, switching is easy, its switching back ie getting out of mismatches caused by switching asap

im watching last nights celtics game and tommy just crooned happy birthday to mike, beautiful

like vucevic switched onto kyrie via pnr and kyrie kinda fd up picked up his dribble languidly threw it to horford at the three pt line took a couple steps back received the ball and roasted vucevic who was still guarding him, if the celtics had been in a similar scenario on D they wldve switched back like 4 times before the mismatch had a chance to produce

but orlando just left their bigman on an island, for shame

obv having the personnel to not create that many mismatches is cool too but thats on a diff level

i doubt i really thought much about the thunder's depth when considering their chances for this season b/c it's never felt like they had depth but dammit, they go like 5 deep and one of the 5 doesn't start.

also this pretending simmons is playing point guard noise must stop, hes guarding forwards in that lineup!

ive fixed it using the cut & paste feature

idk simmons brings the ball up and most everything runs through him. also no way is reddick a pg but not sure any of that matters

theres an existing basketball term for what hes doing "point forward" i mean bron pretty much plays the same role and no one trys to call him a point guard even tho he actually shoots from further than 15 feet

in todays nba so many players are involved in initiating the offense anyway, the celtics often play five players at a once who can bring the ball up the court and get things going all they all point guards who knows!
